We went here when our dogs time had come. No compassion, we were just an invoice. Would not return to this place.

An Excellent Hospital 8/19/2011

I have been taking my dogs to Morrisville for at least 20 years. I find Dr. Donna Hughes to be the best and most qualified. She has vast experience and even told me about a drug for my one dog that was in the FDA process which extended my dogs life for almost two years. He passed at sixteen from heart disease. I always receive follow phone calls, and the doctors try to calm your fears and have many times cried along with us when the time came for my animals to go to dog heaven. The doctors mostly come from the University of Penn, so you can ask for better educated doctors. As for the front desk, it can improve. Melanie is the best at the front desk, she has been there for years. There is one or two at the front desk that are not the friendliest but they are doing their best. It gets pretty hectic there. As for the emergency clinic, they are actually doing one a favor by recommending people to VSEC Emergency because they have specialists there and are a 24 hour clinic. more

Kind with your pets 9/16/2009

Morrisville animal hospital is a great place for your pet. My dog is very small and nervous but they took very good care of him. They were kind and gentle with him and even gave him treats. Now he loves to go there. They were pretty reasonably priced also, if you only need shots you can ask for a tech and save money. more

Overall poor 7/31/2008

I have been using them for a year and found only one doctor that I liked - Dr. Decker. The rest are hit and miss depending on who you get. In addition, you can't ask for who you like all the time or the receptionists get very snippy. All of the desk staff is unprofessionsal, rude and downright uninformed. I have never been to a facility that had such poor service and a total lack of respect for customers. I tried several different doctors and stayed there to see if it was just "me" or a few of the staff but that is not the case. They will not make time for sick appts. either, they ALWAYS refer you to the emergency clinic regardless of whether or not it's needed. STAY AWAY. more

For a general practice, I was happy with my experience. Dr. Skorup and Dr. Decker treated my animals with a lot of compassion. Dr. Shorup to great efforts to make me feel comfortable about important decisions that I had to make about my cat more

a bittersweet experiance 4/1/2008

My experience here was very...different. The staff was ok with my animals but not so much with me, the client. The receptionists shrugged me off when I had questions and were downright rude to me. On one occasion I could hear a docter yelling at one of the other nurses and I was appalled at the lack of professionalism. I don't know, from what I saw they treated my animal exceptionally well but they weren't very nice to me, and the overall personality of the hospital made me feel uncomfortable. But, my dog was feeling better in no time. That counts for something, right? more
