The best spot for a weekend breakfast 11/20/2006

The wait may be long but the food is well worth it. By far THE best breakfast in Chico. The restaurant is small, though, so you may be waiting for quite a while outside for a seat but once you get in you remember why you waited. The portions are huge, so unless you're a big eater or unless you plan on taking home half of it for later I recommend sharing with someone. The prices are very reasonable and the service is old-fashioned great! Pros: great food, great service, fun location Cons: the wait time more

The food portions here are unbelievable. I've never had breakfast like this in my life. I had eggs, bacon, and potatoes and could barely finish half of it; there was literally 8 thick strips of bacon, 4 eggs, and a full dish of potatoes. I've also tried the breakfast burrito and it's just as good. The service here is great, but the wait for the food can take a while. Pros: inexpensive, long-waits Cons: crowded more
