Please be aware when reading these website reviews. There have been several erroneous, bad reviews, that we believe were posted by a former employee out to ruin our reputation. Citysearch has already removed these reviews repeatedly, but they are often reposted. They are clearly fictitious and very dramatic, and they are posted under the names of Marie G., Anthony P., Georgi Z., and Petr T. We have three locations on Staten Island. Staten Island Monuments, is the parent company of: Artist's Memorial Monuments, Moravian Monuments and Resurrection Monuments. We own no other companies. CITYSEARCH! STOP REMOVING THIS! Thank you Citysearch for helping us warn Staten Islanders about this company. My daughter typed this for me. I can't shocked Moravian Monuments is allowed to operate in NY State. When our family was in their offices and gave them the check, they promised us that everything would be perfect at the beginning. My sister was my best friend. For my sister's grave, they spelled her name wrong name on the headstone. When we pointed it out to them, they refused to refund any money to us. They refused to fix it! I am old and I don't have the strength to fight. Our family doesn't have money to hire a lawyer. My son-in-law showed me that Moravian monuments is actually 4 companies under the same address. He said that even if we had a lawyer, they would hide from one company name to another, like a shell game. I only hope that those that for other Staten Islanders that read this, please don't do business with these people! Ours is a very close knit Italian family. What these people did hurt us so very, very much. I cried for days.I am crying now as my daughter is typing this. At least my mother didn't see this. My sister was her absolute favorite. more

Someone in the State or the City needs to investigate these clowns. We were not only given the wrong stone with the wrong art. On top of that, we were poorly mistreated and I became so mad that I went online myself to type this. more
