They did an awesome job on my hair. I had a terrible haircut from someone who thought they should cut my wavy, coarse hair into layers. It looked terrible and she was able to give...

Brittney is wonderful!! 4/2/2008

As my user name indicates I am very picky about who cuts my hair. So picky that until I found Brittney I flew back to Washington DC for my hair cuts. Brittney is great and listened to my concerns about my hair, she shaped my hair and cut it so I have just enough volume. I am definitely going back and I am scheduling my bridal hair appointment with her also. If you are picky, you should check this place out. more

Great Salon 3/31/2008

I have very fine, thin, and curly hair whiich is difficult for many people to cut. My wife reccomended Melinda to cut my hair. She gave me a great haircut and I was very satisfied with my experiece. Pros: price more

good quality at amazing price!! 3/30/2008

Went to this place after seeing such good reviews here. The gal (Brittney) actually did just what was asked!! I've had several people chop many more inches than I'm comfortable with. This was a great experience for sure. I will definitely go back. I've previously gone to the aveda at fashion place and the sanctuary there also--twice as expensive and either color or cut issues! I have neither complaint with this cut! Pros: inexpensive and overall very happy with cut and color Cons: little tricky to find more

Melinda is the best hair stylist around 3/28/2008

Melinda is my hair dresser and she is FABULOUS!!! She has been doing my hair for at least 3 years now....if not longer and she does the best job ever. I have tried so many different stylists and hate my hair, but I always leave with exactly what I want and I even trusted her to color my hair which I would never let anyone else do. Melinda has amazing talent and will honestly tell you what will work for you and what won't. She has amazing creativity and the best personality. I highly recommend you to scheldule an appointment with Melinda. Pros: Very reasonable prices, friendly staff, nice salon Cons: none! more

Great friendly service 3/24/2008

Brittney Denning is AWESOME! She cuts my hair and I love it! She listens to what you?re looking for and cuts your hair the way YOU want! I have been to other salons and tell them how I want my hair cut and end up with a hair cut that isn't anything close to what I want, but very similar to a lot of the stylists other clients. I don't ever have to worry about this with Brittney! Brittney also does a great job offering suggestions for hair that look amazing! Brittney does a great job waxing as well. I was nervous the first time I had waxing done, but it was a very pleasant experience and will be waxing instead of shaving from here on out! Brittney is so much fun to talk to! I hate going to a salon and sitting there in silence. Brittney has such a fun personality, she makes you feel at easy and like you've known her forever! I would recommend her to anyone! Pros: Great customer service, great stylist, great prices-BRITTNEY DENNING IS AMAZING! more

First of all I would like to say that I enjoyed the atmosphere of moore hair design. It is the cutest little salon I have ever been to!! Second of all BRITTNEY DENNING is amazing! I have looked and looked for a good hair stylist who knows what they are doing!! I finally found her! I am 100% satisfied with what my haircut service. Brittney listened to exactly what I wanted, gave suggestions and she even educated me on how to work through the complications I've been having when styling my hair! She is such a sweet girl and i will for sure return to see her!! Can't wait to get my eyebrows waxed!! Pros: Britt's Prices are so reasonable!! Cons: None! more

SHE KEEPS UP TO DATE ON HAIR STYLES AND ALWAYS COMES UP WITH SOMETHING NEW FOR ME. I TRUST HER 100%!! I MOVED TO SAINT GEORGE AND STILL DRIVE UP TO SALT LAKE TO GET MY HAIR DONE! Melinda is AWESOME 3/15/2008

I have always been very picky with people that cut my hair. I've even gone months too long without a haircut because I have to trust the person cutting my hair. Melinda does a great job. I will never be able to have someone else cut my hair. Melinda is very personable and easy to talk with. She's also very professional and knows how to cut hair in many different styles. I have recommended Melinda to a lot of people and everyone that has gone to her has been very pleased. Melinda will give you an awesome hair cut. more

Best Hair EVER! 3/13/2008

I usually don't write reviews like this but I had to BRAG about how great my hair looks every time I go see Melinda! She was awesome!!!! She actually listens to what you want to have done with your hair and then does it! I have had so many experiences where I would tell a hairstylist one thing and they would do another! She is a step above everyone else that has ever touched my hair! And if you don?t know what hair style or color to go with, Melinda always has great ideas that will have you looking fabulous when you leave the salon! Thanks for everything Melinda!! Skilled friendly staff and pleasant environment 3/13/2008

I'm just a guy who doesn't know much about hair but I have really enjoyed every haircut I have had there. My hairdresser is Melinda and she has a good ""vision"" and good advice in case I don't know how I want my hair cut. The enviromnment is nice and friendly, kind of like walking into the bar Cheers but without the alcohol or barstools. All in all, the favorite place I have ever had my hair done. more

Melinda Hughes Is the BEST! 3/13/2008

Melinda Hughes has been cutting and coloring my hair for 3 years now... and for good reason...I LOVE IT! I moved to Logan last fall and still come down to have her do my hair. The salon is conveniently located in Holladay and has a comfortable atmosphere. Her expertise is amazing. Last December I was in California for a month and had my hair cut at Tony & Guy and felt that Melinda was just as good if not better than the stylist at their salon. Highly Recommended. All time greatest place to get your hair done 3/13/2008

This is my new favorite place to get my hair done! My stylist Melinda Hughes is fantasticly awesome! She really knows what will look the best on people and how to best do their hair. My hair has never looked as good as when Melinda did it! I came to Melinda when someone else had done a horrible color job on my hair, they had tried to color my roots to match the rest of my hair and had used the wrong color. So by the time I went to have it fixed my hair was a number of colors that didn't match. Melinda did an amazing job fixing it and making it look great. I am complimented all the time on how good my hair looks and how great the color is. Melinda is by far the best hairdresser that I've ever been to! more

A cut/color you can walk away from HAPPY!!!! 3/8/2008

For four years I tried to find a hair stylist I liked, someone I wanted to keep going to month after month. Before I found Melinda at Moore Hair Design, I went through six different stylists, each one explaining what I wanted and never finding one that made my hair look exactly how I wanted it. I went to Melinda last july and was seriously shocked when the cut and color was finished. It was exactly what I wanted. The salon is so cute and they offer a variety of services, my appointments have all been easy to schedule and have started right on time, it's affordable, Megan always has great and creative hairstyle ideas, and --most importantly-- the end product is beautiful every time! Bridal Bliss 5/23/2007

I recently chose Moore Hair Design for my wedding hair and makeup. Megan's team of stylists were able to create great hair styles for my entire bridal party and everybody looked great. Megan traveled to the event with me and completed every detail to perfection. I would recommend Megan for any wedding event... I'm super picky about who cuts my hair because I'm always fearful about receiving a bad haircut. I never have to worry with Megan though. I completely trust her style and judgement when she's cutting my hair because she always does a great job and knows what looks good.
