Moore Floors

Prior to beginning this remodel, we met with several different flooring contractors, but my husband and I chose to go with Moore Floors Inc. We had a large project, and not only did their bid come in lower than most, but we were impressed with the gentleman that came out to look at the floors. He was knowledgable of hardwood flooring and very professional. \r \r After some discussion, we chose to refinish the floors that were covered with carpet, added hardwood on the stairs and some additional hardwood in the family room. The floors are beautiful, and our home looks entirely different than it had beforehand. \r \r The team from Moore Floors was very professional, and we will definitely recommend them to others. The floors are exquisite, and they worked within the promised timeframe\r \r We are so pleased with the work that Moore Floors has done, that we are already planning a stage 2 to the project (upstairs), and we are hoping to undergo this within the year.\r \r You won't regret going with Moore Floors! Just had our floor re-finished in Dec and Chris and the Moore floors crew did an amazing job. They worked long hours to ensure that the project was completed before the holiday with time to spare. The floors turned out amazing. The crew was polite and flexible to work with and handled everything from moving furniture to re-attaching the baseboards. I had first heard of Moore Floors through a recommendation from a friend that just had their hardwood floors refinished. He was very happy with their workmanship and professionalism and gave me their business card. I had received a few other bids first, but ended up going with Moore Floors Inc. to install the hardwood floors & stairs in our new home. I was immediately impressed with the gentleman that came out for the bid. He was professional, he answered all my questions (and there were many) and the bid was very reasonable. The crew worked very hard on our floors and they finished ahead of schedule so that we could get moved into our new home. Our floors are beautiful and we are proud to show them off. Puzzling to say the least. The owner came to my home to give a hardwood floor estimation for my somewhat small living room in a respectable neighborhood. He showed up late but I was notified by phone that he'd be late, so that was ok. The estimation was quick, I asked a few questions, and he gave me his card. He told me he would send me a quote but 3 business days later, I have yet to receive anything. I emailed the company as well and have received no response. I don't know what their reason/criteria is for rejecting/ignoring a potential business, but I certainly would never recommend this business to anyone who wants reliable and professional hardwood contractors. If you don't want a businees that is picky and choosy about ""who"" their clients are or how large/small the job is, don't do business with them because chances are, they won't want you. No ""moore"" hardwood for me, thank you. more

We had Moore Floors Inc. come in to install new hardwood floors to match our previous hardwood floors. They installed and refinished the flooring, and the end result is incredibly beautiful. We never imagined it would look this good. We get compliments on our floors by everyone that sees them. They are very reasonably priced, and people can not believe how little we paid for this exquisite floor. The crew was timely and professional and had us back in our home in no time. They worked long hours to ensure this. After my experience with Moore Floors, I would not think of going to anyone else in the future. We received quotes from three other companies before hiring Moore Floors, and not only was their price the best, but there was a notable difference in the interactions we had with them. You don't have to pay an arm and a leg to get quality craftmenship and honest and reliable service. (They even worked the weekend to accomodate our schedule!) Their contractors arrived on time and delivered a beautiful product for us within the timeline they set and for the price they originally quoted (no surprises!) What a relief when you can get the same service as the big guys at the price of a family owned business. We were reluctant at first to use a contractor with one of the lowest quotes thinking we might be missing out on something the higher priced guys offered, but not so. These are good guys, they offer good rates, and they gave us a great looking showroom finish. No complaints, kudos to you Moore Floors!!! This business charges less and it is for a reason! We though very highly of them at first and the floors looked great at first sight but then we started noticing where they hadn't filled in nail holes in two rows of boards and nails were sticking out which kept getting caught on our socks and I even cut my foot on one. I thought this could be easily fixed with no hard feelings but then when I tried to contact them through email and telephone several times, there was no response. That was back in March and it is now almost November! I have lost count of the number of times I have called and emailed. They even finally answered one day and apologized that they have been busy and promised to come in September 4th/5th. My husband took the time off work and no one even showed up or bothered to call and now we are back to calling and emailing with no response again.\r Now that the house market is going downhill and people are hesitant to renovate since they fear they won't get the money back from the sale of their house, it will be interesting to see if some of these unreliable contractors suddenly learn about customer service!
