If you like browsing through funky antique shops -- not the dowdy kind where all the price tags are in the hundreds, but the kind where you can actually afford something -- this is the place. Looking for a dress for a function that no one else will have on? Shoes and jewelry to match? This is the spot. There also are lots of fun items, such as postcards, coasters, posters, shoes, blankets, you name it. And the book collection is impressive, considering this is not a place that specializes in rare books. I once found a copy of an earlier printing (maybe the first, who knows....they didn't label books that way back then) of Graham Greene's "The Comedians." And the price was the same as what I would expect to pay for a newly printed paperback version. Definitely a fun place to spend a Saturday afternoon, and if you've got money to spend, even better.
