Moon's Towing

Moon's towing is the worst company ever...I went there to pickup my daughter car so I can go register it and pay the tax title and license on it...I had a real problem of them letting me get my things out the car even when I gave my ID,last 6 digits of the VIn number,green ticket, insurance papers, and paper from the DMV...With all that evidence they still had a problem with me getting the stuff out my car...\r \r When I finally convinced them to let me go back there to get the titles out the car...I noticed only the bill of sale was in there but no titles...I had them papers all stable together...The stable was removed and the papers was separated and the titles was missing...One of the workers told me he needed the papers that I had in my hand because you are really not allowed to get your things out the car...So I gave him my papers...\r \r He gave them to the lady in the office...She then came to the window with my bill of sale and tells me this not my car and that I have to prove I am the owner...And that this car is registered with the bridge house...I said we have to pay taxes and registration on the vehicle that's why I need my papers...She said I can not give you these papers because you are not the owner of the vehicle you need to show me the title...I told her the title was in the car...And that I need them paoer to prove I was the owner so I can get the car back...She got upset with me took my ID and insurance papers that I brought there and tried to keep the bill of sale...Then threatened to call the police. ..I said you don't have to call me I will just give me my stuff back...After calling the police she reach me my Id but kept the other papers...I told them they're trying to steal my car and the titles are missing and they're saying it's not my car and refuses to give me my insurance back or the bill of sale ...\r \r The police came within less then 5 mins got everything I needed...I had to get everything done over...I called the DMV and they gave me a number to Used Car Commissioner to make a complaint...\r \r Don't trust them very back business.. more

Donald with Moons towing is a bully and a liar . Do NOT call them for anything , they will lie to you and try to cheat you out of money more

my car was flloded on the 24th and the city had it towed before my insurance company could get someone out. after i called Moons the dispatcher treated me like i was sub human. now my keys are mysteriously missing. when i asked how did the tow my car, which is a manual transmission if the doors were locked i was told that he would not discuss it with me. now they wont let my insurance company have the doors open so they can "prove" its mine by registration. I hate this place. on top of it all my car flooded in harvey which was about 3 miles from my house and about 7 miles from their westbank location instead they towed my car across the river. i wonder if they did it just to run up the bill. I called them trying to get some information about a job that was done and Donald the dispatcher was very rude and unhelpful. Worst company to try and conduct business with. more

I'v used Moon's towing several times and they are ture pro's. Thier equipment is top notch and so are thier people more

This is the worst company , and as everything in NOLA they are 'connected" so they get away with it. They rummage through your car without your consent before you get there, will not let you take pictures and will not let anyone else in the lot to help get your stuff out of the car. On top of being in an accident, having your car totalled and being in a world of pain, they steal your stuff and curse you out.... How do they have the contract for the city of Kenner???? This was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had to deal with involving a vehicle accident insurance claim. After an automobile accident, the local sheriff's department had my vehicle towed to this hell hole. The idiots in the office are extremely rude, very arrogant, and are clearly scamming insurance companies on storage fees. Even my insurance rep. told me that he thought that these arrogant people were impossible to deal with. Completely unprofessional company. I recommend that anyone who comes across this company's listing in the yellow pages, or online looking for towing service, go further down the listings and look for a more reputable company. Pros: Absolutely none. Cons: Everything about the way this company operates. more

this company has office personel that are rud and curse you out when you try to get you car, they dont pay there drivers a good wage , and every chance they get they try take money from there drivers. this is a big company that would rather loose drivers, take vac. ,buy a new personal truck or rolce roce instead of pay there drivers a good wage. this company would rather have an office manager that is rood, unprofessonal and treets there customers like dirt instead of hiring somone who is more profesonal.
