They are nothing but con artists. They quote you one price and get the work and then charge you more when you get your vehicle. Their rates are doubled, they don't give you free estimates. They are just plane old theifs. more

worst customer service and overpriced 12/6/2010

Coming form a famil y that tows for a living I was appalled by my recent mistreatment as a customer of Moody's towing. I am familiar with most of the common charges while having a vehicle towed but was more than surprised when having my vehicle towed less than 8 miles to a $150 tow bill. If the sticker shock right before Christmas wasn't bad enough when I asked the office staff why the unusual price tag I sworn at and belittled. The most awful cusotmer experience. I would rather push my vehicle 8 miles by myself than ever use Moody's towing again. DO NOT fall trap to this extortionist. Will never ever use this company again and will tell everyone I know about how awful they are. They should be rated negatively. more

Do not risk doing business with the most unethical business in town. This company overcharges and devalues their customers. I come from a family of mechanics who also run a tow business so I am familiar with tow rates and common practices and was blown away when I went to pick up my vehicle and was told after towing my vehicle less than 8 miles it would cost me $150. When I asked as to why the fees were so inflated I was sworn at so I asked to speak with a supervisor and of course their wasn't any available. I was told to pay for my vehicle or sign over my title. Granted my minivan is not worth much but I would never sign over a vehicle to a towing company just because they feel they can get away with extortion. Do not use this towing service push your vehicle before calling Moody's. Buyer be wary - this is the most unethical company in all of Rochester. more
