Monty's Music

I was told to ask for Monty when I got there. I did he was nothing but pleasant and helpful. I not only had a good expeirence I bought a gift certificate for my friend for piano lessons. It's nice to see that there are still Mom and Pop type of stores around. more

I went to Monty's music to trade in a guitar effects pedal for a midi foot pedal that he had. My foot pedal currently sold for around $100 ""used"" and He VULGARICLY laughed in my face when I told him I was hoping to get $25 for it. 1. Very UN professional 2. He said he would'nt give me $5 for my piece of crap. 3. He continued to sneer and act like he wanted to pick a fight with me until some Mother came in with her child and he transformed into a decent person until they left. He then came from around the counter and got 6 inches from my face with his very bad breath to tell me how long he has been doing this and how I was wrong for wanting $25 for my $100 pedal ( currently sold on ebay ). This man Is by far the RUDEST person that I have ever met in my life. I really encourage any one to stay away from this store, he made me feel horrible and this is how he tries to bully people into giving in. I never have been so offended in my life, and I've been playing live music for 21 years around drunks at bars and still he is the rudest person I have ever met. Please for your own sake, PLEASE stay away from this store. more
