If you enjoy being treated like a piece of crap then this is the place for you. This place is possibly the worst butcher shop I have ever been in. Their staff is rude and unprofessional. Dr. Mai did quite a hachet job on my husband and then treated my husband like a junkie when he asked to get his pain meds filled for the gaping hole in his mouth. They lie about your insurance coverage and then tell you they will just submit it anyway and if they don't pay it then you are responsible. They need to be investigated for insurance fraud! The place is a dirty dump. If you care about your teeth, DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! I wouldn't set foot in this office ever again, even if all my teeth were falling out and this was the last dental practice in the world!!!!! more

I went to Dr Monticciolo's for 4 years and complained about how sore one area of my gum was. It also had receeded. I was always told I needed a new crown. I ended up with periodontal disease that had spread to all 4 quadrants. I went to the office 2 times a year for cleanings, plus usually 1 or 2x to complain of the gum pain. I practice excellent home oral hygene. I had to have a bridge, all new crowns on all 4 quadrants after ossceous surgery. I have since switched dentists and because this had gone so far I do have some permanent nerve damage. STAY AWAY. Just need to warn you. They are totally BAD NEWS!!! more

They take your number, here's you paperwork, pay and out you go! The worst first visit ever! They didn't even explain to me what they thought I needed and what everything on my treatment plan ment after waiting in the consultation room for 25minutes. They let me leave in pain and a swollen jaw, with no antibiotics. I clearly had an issue that the denist, Dr. Mai, didn't care to hear about because he cut me off several times when I tried to tell him my issues/ symptoms. They tried to charge me more than they were supposed to hadn't I said something to the rude receptionist. Sad part is, is that my appointment was in the middle of a week day, not early morning or late afternoon when places are more busy. The only good thing about it is that they showed thier true colored on the first visit. I will NEVER go back there and will advise everyone I know to not go there! more

Although the hygienist, Pauline, was nice enough. The people in charge are RUDE! This includes Dr. G., the head hygienist, and the office manager. They talk about the patients while they're still there. Didn't think I heard them but didn't want to cause a scene. Their ads state they cater to those afraid but that's a LIE. They wanted to see one of my sons again but not the other because he was crying a little (mainly due to not taking a nap). This was was Dr. G's "professional opinion." When I wanted to try my sleepy son one more time before leaving, the office manager lied and said the hygienist had another patient. Since I knew she was lying because she didn't realize I heard her talking to the head hygienist who told her that the doctor would rather not have my child come back there! I told her to make an appointment for the next couple of months. :-) The hygienist came out and I told her to tear up the six month cards that I completed and I will find a dentist that really cares about their patients. They better not charge me for the son they didn't see! If you are considering them, DON'T! FIND ANOTHER BEFORE YOU EVEN GO! more

My husband went to this office 2 years ago and had his teeth cleaned. He is on an HMO. He left and we didn't hear from them in 18 months. Then he got a bill for a deep cleaning. He had gone in for the free cleaning. After 4 months of phone calls and writing letters the charges were dropped. Just be very careful. more
