A year ago I put both of my children into this school. You can trust your precious children to the capable hands of Effie and her staff. They bring out the best in them academically, socially and artistically. \r \r The teachers of our 2 year old love, care for, nurture and engage the imagination and learning so well that she has taken off in her knowledge and confidence. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine what this early learning would do for her. The academics and social development provided in the older classroom is astonishing. Each child is encouraged to learn to the best of their ability. My four year old is doing work my older child didn’t do until first grade. \r \r Both of our girls look forward to school. Both my kids have been attending MCH and they absolutely loves the school. The teachers and staff have been very courteous. Particularly the toddler class teachers have been so caring and wonderful. I would happily recommend this school to anyone looking for a great Montessori school for their precious ones. more

I love this school! 10/3/2012

I can not express the gratitude I feel towards the staff at Montessori Children's House. My daughter is at her third year at this school. It was really difficult for me to leave my daughter after my mother took care of her for the first year. I did not want to take her to school and leave her with strangers. Although it was was really hard for me, I soon found that the teachers are wonderful. They loved my daughter as if they she was their own. I know they truly loved her. I am forever grateful for Mrs. Marci and Mrs Mina and other part time teachers taking such good care of my baby girl. She has since transitioned to the older classroom. I was very nervous for her to receive new teachers and how she would feel about this transition. She loves her new class and teachers. I know she loves school because she always asks to go and seems so happy when I come get her after school. I also feel they have taught her so many things and that she will definitely be ready kindergarten when the ti more

Excellent and Safe Environment 2/28/2012

My son attended for 2 years, with me driving 30 minutes round trip! It was worth the drive. Kind environment, focused teachers, top quality Montessori supplies. This is a Montessori education that is appropriate for today's children. First quality foods and wide variety of extracurricular activities. The environment is very safe and the staff and owner/director focus on the children. Pros: null Cons: null more

Excellent School... 8/4/2010

Montessori Children's House is an excellent school. I sent my son there for three years and my daughter goes to the school at present. My daughter absolutely loves it. Teachers are caring. The school has a lot of facilities. Their curriculum is good. Teachers are patient and understanding. Lot of extra curricular activities are offered at the school. Their menu is very good. They accomodate vegetarian stuents too. The school is clean and the management tries their best to keep it that way. My daughter takes piano and ballet lessons out there. Karate, jump bunch and many other activities are also offered. Mr. Paul And Ms. Saifi do a wonderful job greeting the parents. I have known them through the school for about 5-6 years now. They are strict on the sick policy and that is very good for other parents who do not want their own kids to be catching different infections. more

Montessori Children's House is an Excellent School 8/4/2009

I would absolutely highly recommend this school to any family. The moment you enter through the front door you and your children will be welcomed by wonderful people that will greet you with smiles. I am most impressed with the school's owner/director Miss Effie. Her passion for teaching and her love for children is evident from the moment you meet her. She makes it a priority to get to know every child and their family. She is continuously adding to the curriculum to ensure the newest and most innovative learning opportunities for the children. As a parent, I have been so pleased to know that my 5 year old twins are in the are in the best possible environment. They love to go to school everyday and they don't want to leave at the end of the day! I have been so impressed with their progress during the time they have been attending MCH. As a staff member, I have had the opportunity to witness the education that my children are receiving first hand, and I could not be more pleased more

This is a good school 1/7/2008

This is a good school with nice facility and caring teachers. There are other alternatives around this area but ttheir tuitions are much more expensive than this one. more

Unfriendly atmosphere 11/28/2007

My child attended the school for a year. I kept going only because the teacher was good. The director is very rude and uncaring. When I went to see the school again for my second child, there was a new admissions director who seemed to be even more rude and ridiculous than the director. She said that a 3 year old needs to know how to interact with other kids and maintain his distance. She wanted to test my child before enrolling him. This was indeed a boon as I decided that was not a place for my child to grow. If you are desperate, this would be the place! more
