Montanarella, Mary Jo, Md - Montanarella & Assoc

I was with Dr. Montanarella since I was 18 years old. At first when it was just yearly check-ups, I had no problems. Everything went smooth. However, now that they found out that I have Hypothyroidism and has to get blood samples & more frequent check-ups, they have been very rude & acting as if I'm not worth the time. They have cancelled on me 4 times the morning of the appt because the Dr had to go somewhere else... and they discharged me because I "missed too many appointments". I couldn't believe my ears when they told me that over the phone AND to top it all off they CHARGED me for those 4 times of no being at the appt that THEY cancelled. You discharge me & want my money? Unacceptable. There are way better Drs out that and this one doesn't deserve my business. more

I've been seeing Doctors at this practice for about seven years now. I really am very happy with my care there. I find the doctors bedside manner casual and very caring. I've never felt uncomfortable with any of their staff and they're always very happy to help answar any questions/ address any concerns I might have. I've found them alot better than ob/gyn's I've had in the past. The only difficulty is it does take time to get an appointment which is pretty typical at a majority of doctors office. They do have nurses willing to talk to you if you do have concerns in the meanwhile. more
