I called Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection when I had an issue with my clogged sink. The plumber arrived within the hour and got to work. He was efficient and very pleasant. He had to remove two pipes to resolve the issue, but he explained it very well and showed me how to prevent future problems. He did a wonderful job; I have had no issues with the sink since. The prices were fair. more

Very Satisfied! 9/24/2015

Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection has done work for me in the past. This time around, they were very accommodating to different schedules - my schedule and coordinating the work with the local city utility, to replace the water meter and both shut of bells in each side of it. Monona worked to get all the coordination done with the right people at the right time and place. It worked out great and every time I turn the water off, I smile. Ask for a quote! more

Excellent, very satisfied 9/14/2015

I have been a satisfied customer of Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection for the past five years. Most recently, a technician replaced some water valves in the basement. He quickly diagnosed the problem and took care of it. Everyone on staff is very professional. The service is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for and the work is worth the price. Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection has a great reputation because they deliver great service. more

Really professional and great! 8/21/2015

Monona Plumbing is really quick and professional. I always use them. Once, they came back because they forgot to hook a water pipe the first time, replace the spigot and didn't charge me for any of that because they had to come back. I recommended them to my neighbor and they did an amazing job for her as well! more

Service for Navien water heater 8/20/2015

We had a problem with our Navien tankless water heater. Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection is one of the only plumbing companies in our area with a great deal of expertise with this type of water heater. Everyone on staff was polite and courteous. They were able to schedule our service promptly and the technician was very knowledgeable about the product. The work was completed within the day and the service was a great value for the price we paid. I recommend Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection for great service. more

No surprises, fairly upfront and easy to work with! 8/19/2015

From the get-go Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection was upfront. The serviceman kept the appointment and was early, so everything worked out fine. He repaired a leaking faucet in the kitchen and cleaned up after himself. The pricing was very workable and fair. There weren't really any surprises, was fairly upfront and easy to work with. more

This was my first time using Monona. They were really quick to respond to my calls. They came with a quote that I consider fair. They completed all of the work. It didn't go exactly according to plan, but that was due to no fault of their own. They were able to fix it. They handled any issues that came up along the way. Overall, I'm very satisfied with their customer service and the work they did. more

Very excellent service 6/29/2015

I remember Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection because years ago I had a huge problem in my basement. They were one of the few places that called back right away and had prompt service. Since then, I have called them a couple times. They are always prompt. The plumber is very nice and answers all of my questions. I have recommended them to a couple of people before. I also did some remodeling recently and I was worried about problems I might have. He fixed some of those problems and he even checked out the basement to make sure there was no lead because my house is very old. He was very nice about doing a little extra work. Overall, they have very excellent service. more

Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection came recommended to me by another plumber from a competing service. We had them out the first time to look at a problem with plumbing. They were honest about what should be repaired and replaced, which I appreciated. When it came time for the next service, which actually occurred when they said it would happen, I used them again. They gave me a very good deal on a replacement water softener. I would recommend their service. more

Local, personalized service 6/4/2015

I called Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection to handle a water emergency for a rental property on a Sunday. The company responded quickly and a crew came to the property within two hours. The technicians used the parts I supplied, which made the repairs cheaper for me. The crew was very polite, super efficient, and cleaned up after the work was complete. They billed me later and the price was reasonable. I received great service for a winter weekend. I used this company before at my home and received equally good service then. I recommend Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection for trustworthy, prompt service. more

Very good service 5/29/2015

I have worked with Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection for about eleven years and I am always very pleased with services. The technicians are always very thorough. Customers are charged for a minimum of a half an hour, but the technician will check out the plumbing in the rest of your house if they finish with their scheduled work early. When I need help with anything related to plumbing, I call Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection. Their service is well worth the money and I appreciate the extra time they take to ensure that our plumbing is in good working order. more

Fast, professional, and friendly 5/12/2015

Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection has serviced my home several times and I am always impressed with the professional, knowledgeable staff. I called them the first time because there was a foul aroma in my home and the technician fixed the problem by pouring water down basement drain. The second time, I had slow draining sinks and they repaired those and fixed my reverse osmosis system. They are always very quick to respond and attentive to the needs of their customers, whatever the size of the problem. I appreciated that they kept me informed about where they are throughout the day so I knew pretty accurately when they would arrive. The service crew is very professional, timely, and informative, and everyone on the staff is friendly, smart, and nice. more

A very fine experience. 4/30/2015

We had a very fine experience with Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection. We have an elevated toilet in the basement, so they had to put in a new y-joint to have it fit in. They were efficient and did the job in a timely fashion. They did a great job, and I would definitely use them again. more

Quick and awesome service. 1/7/2015

Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection gets the job done quickly. We had a leak with our toilet on the second floor, and after the connector broke it started to flood and continued throughout the house. After we had gotten remediation to dry the house out, we contacted flooring people. When they came out, they said that it looked as though the toilet was not installed properly, and that we needed to contact a plumber before they could finish their work. We gave Monona a call and they came out right away. They installed it properly and promptly, and after the flooring was done we had no trouble getting them to come in again to finish the work. I used an online coupon, so I was able to get the service call for free! They were absolutely terrific, did a great job, and we have not had any problems since. We're actually thinking about hiring them again to do our other two bathrooms. When you're trying to get your bathroom put back together, you want it done promptly. These are the guys to call. more
