Monarch Dental & Orthodontics

Please do not go here!! I read reviews and had my reservations because of warnings. I usually use another dentist office that is amazing but hours don't fit my schedule. Monarch is open late so I scheduled a cleaning. Never in my life have I been told I am denied cleaning! I spent two hours getting X-rays and gum measurements 1-3 with a few 4's but still not bad. They came back and said it would be $245 to clean my teeth. Offered care credit to pay etc. but wouldn't clean my teeth unless I paid. I did my research and never has a dental office refused to clean teeth! But they did! Saying my teeth were bad and it needed done. They said a regular cleaning is just polishing and to do it means I have good teeth. What!? Needless to say, I left and will take a day off of work to have my dentist clean my teeth. Ridiculous! more

I went to Monarch Dental for a cleaning and it cost me over $700 and I sat in the chair for less than 30 minutes for a deep cleaning. I had regular cleaning at other places that took an hour. They upcharge you on everything. They give you an estimated bill and tell you that you are responsible for everything that the insurance company will not pay. Before you have anything done, call your insurance company. They upsold me on several treatments that Aetna would not cover. Some of the things they will not cover are like gum treatments that are done at the time of a cleaning. I landed up paying out of pocket 50% of the total cost of the cleaning as many of the things they recommended were not covered.\r \r Hygenist is a nice woman... but did the poorest job I had in regards to a cleaning. If you have lots of time to waste and money and want poor customer service and dealing with a bunch of new people in the business that are using you to gain experience ? this is the place to g more

The entire staff was kind and courteous. However, my dentist was absolutely outstanding with what seemed to be an immediate understanding of the issues of what I was facing in dental treatment. She was also extremely sensitive to my embarrassment and need to improve my appearance. I am extremely grateful to her and the staff. more

I just want to say Thank You to the front office staff for making my trip to the dentist pleasant! For taking the extra time to walk thru some things with my wife and I! We want to Thank Dr. Carr as well for being friendly, great bedside manner, and remembering me the next time I came in. Makes you feel a little bit more important, especially when the Dr. remembers your name! Thanks more

just to let you know this place is bad news. expect to pay more money than you originaly told you would pay. you have to take a lunch if you want to wait all day to be seen or have something done. i don't think anyone knows what is going on. i would give it a -star more
