Monarch Academy-Young Children

Monarch Academy provides an excellent environment that builds an outstanding foundation for preschool age children. My son started at the school when he was just shy of 3 and is graduating in June (2 years later) having had an amazing experience. He is already reading, writing his name (and mine), writing letters, numbers, counting in Spanish and sharing the information he is learning about new countries (e.g. China, Mexico and Jamaica) with his dad and I. I am beyond impressed and feel like this program has been well worth the investment and some. My son has also grown tremendously socially and has really come out of his shell. The environment created by this husband and wife team is just fabulous. They are always actively engaged, available for questions and/or feedback and have created an environment where children from all backgrounds can really thrive. My son also loves the music classes that have been integrated into the curriculum and they also serve very healthy meals. We could not have asked for a better foundation for our son and I would highly recommend Monarch Academy. They also offer before and after care programs to meet the needs of all families...what else can you ask for?! more

If I could, I would give Monarch Academy 50 stars! I can honestly say that Monarch has done absolute wonders for my son! My son started at this school when he was three years old, and has remained until his 5th year, just completing Pre-K.\r \r This school has such a unique, nurturing, creative, and inquisitive atmosphere that it creates the ideal climate for learning.\r \r My son entered the school as an extremely shy and nervous little boy, and through the years they gently coaxed him out of his shell. I went to our this preschool, and I thought that it did a great job with the location that it has. I wasn't thrilled with the idea of a preschool in an industrial center, but they made it very cheerful and happy inside. The playground is nice, but I would want more space for my rambunctious boy to run around! more
