Molly Maid of Oak Park

Showed up at 10:15 am on Thursday, and were due 10:00am-noon on Friday. Admitted their screw up, and said they would be here 10:00-noon on Friday. Showed up at 2:43pm. It appears they don't move furniture. A microwave cart on wheels was not cleaned underneath. The kitchen chairs were not moved to clean the floor. An 8lb cabinet on the floor was not moved to clean underneath. A sofa at an angle in a corner, leaving space for a litter pan, was not touched. The space went uncleaned. If the policy is to not move furniture, I could have been asked to move things for them, but, I wasn't. Requested they clean refrigerator inside and out, and they did not clean back inner wall, or sides. They did a great job cleaning ceiling fans, but did nothing to other light fixtures. Cleaned the floors, but not the heat vents at floor level. They are a service that does "cosmetic" cleaning, but not the service to hire for a "thorough" job. Way to pricey for the services performed. Will NEVER hire them again. more

Horrible, horrible, horrible! We paid for 2 maids for 2 hours to clean an apartment before we moved in. It was a small apartment (about 750 sq ft) and completely empty. We have no clue what they did for the 2 hours they were there because the place was still disgusting when they left. The didn't touch the bathroom or the kitchen counters or cabinets. All that they did was the floors and the refrigerator. When we complained, they told us that we were out of luck because we had already paid. AVOID! more

A recent cleaning job by Molly Maids in my six room home left a lot to be desired - and finished up afterwards. In addition to coming nearly 30 minutes late, they wiped my countertops around appliances (i.e. toaster oven, coffee maker, washed the floor in the greater area - but skipped corners - and left windows with toddler handprints untouched. Their customer service guarantee said they would send a team to complete the job a few days later - and I have not seen broom nor dust mop since. Seriously shop around and check references before hiring this service. more
