Hello, my name is Daron Farrar and I head up our carpet and floor care division at Molly Maids in the Williamson, So. Davidson and Maury county area. I just wanted to take a few minutes and explain about some of the services that we offer and also clear up some lies and misconceptions posted about our service by ""jidooley"". I do realize that jidooley's comments were posted almost two years ago, however it was only recently brought to my attention by a concerned client of ours. I do regret that I did not find out about it sooner.\r
\r
First of all, I searched our database and could not find a file where we did any carpet cleaning for someone with that name. As a result I can not determine if he actually did use our service under some other name or if this is a completely made up episode. In any case I can only speculate as to why this person felt the need to lie about and slander our company. \r

To begin with we do not simply sprinkle powder on the carpet and vacuum it up. Our process is among the most thorough in the industry and features the HOST Dry Extraction System. The HOST system has been rated #1 by a leading consumer testing magazine and is used to deep clean and restore all types of carpeting. \r
\r
For the benefit of those not familiar with the HOST system I will briefly explain how it works. The first step is that the carpet is pre-vacuumed with a machine called an Extractor Vac. The Extractor Vac features two, five inch in diameter counter rotating brushes to lift the carpet pile and combined with a vacuum extract deeply embedded dry soils beyond what a vacuum cleaner can remove. Next, the high traffic areas as well as individual stains are pretreated with products designed to dissolve oily soils as well as the individual stained areas. After the pretreatment a dry carpet cleaning compound is then applied to the carpet and brushed in very thoroughly with the Extractor Vac with the vacuum turned off. As the product is scrubbing the detergents, these absorbent particles dissolve and trap oily soils, many odors and as well as most allergens in the carpeting. After the HOST product has been brushed in with several passes of the machine it is then vacuumed up an initial time. Next, the edges of the room are vacuumed and then individual stains that may still remain are detailed with the most effective stain removal products available if necessary. Finally, the area is vacuumed one last time with the Extractor Vac as any items that were moved are put back into place. The carpet is then dry enough to be used immediately following the cleaning unless other treatments were done such as for odor control. \r

In regard to pricing I would like to address that a $544 job usually takes around six to seven hours and would include several areas of carpeting in a good sized house. To say that we could complete the job as described above in less than an hour is an outright lie, there was no 9.44 made per minute or any such non-sense. Our prices are calculated per square foot in a very fair and reasonable way according to the type of carpeting being cleaned, the level of staining and any odors that need treatment as well as the amount of furniture that requires moving. continued..\r
