Outstanding service from everyone 8/31/2010

Outstanding service from everyone. Our doctor spent extra time with us and explained everything in detail. The surgery nurse was just as friendly and informative. I received follow up phone calls at lest twice a day for almost a week. I appreciated the follow up calls and made me feel like the staff really cared about me and my pooch. Thank you. more

Considerate and caring 8/4/2010

The staff was considerate, caring, and they were the same staff who have been there for years. Dr. Mohnacky was great too. He also does VERY low-cost spay/neuters for feral cats. The prices were always very reasonable. more

The doctors and staff at Mohnacky are wonderful. Their expertise, thoroughness, and caring have literally saved my senior dog's life on more than one occasion. Everyone is caring and attentive. They offer a no interest loan program, which is great when you have to make difficult decisions about the level of care for your pet. more

Friendly and informative 6/30/2010

They offer a pretty good puppy plan which includes all the necessary shots and a neuter/spay plus free unlimited visits for a year for one, upfront fee. They make your next appointment before you leave and they send out reminder cards and are good about keeping you on track. I thought the staff was pretty friendly and informative. They were also pretty accommodating to emergency appointments when we got worried about our pup. We brought both of our puppies there to get neutered/spayed and get their shots. They are always very upfront about costs, which I like, and they always go over all the alternatives. It's a pretty good plan, and you do end up saving a good amount of money. We stopped going just because they were kinda far from us and we stopped going to north county as much. more

Nice and clean! 5/5/2010

I go to the one off Valle Terrace because its close to where i live. Its pretty clean and nice inside. The price to fix both my male cats was pretty cheap. They even called the next day to see how my kitties were doing. I also buy my Advantage there because its cheaper then anywhere else. Christine C Vista, CA more

They were so awesome when I called again. I needed advice on my crazy kitten. He was going to jump from the bed to dresser and instead face planted it into the dresser full throttle. They said if he has no discharge and no bleeding and his nose does not feel broken he would be fine but I could come in anyways for a vet visit and get a shot for him to help the swelling because this can impair their breathing. But he was fine in 2 days and never did it again. But I was glad they were able to answer my questions and concerns over the phone. Christina W Vista,ca? more

I find their prices are comparable to other vet clinics/hospitals. In fact, the last time he had his physical, all shots were free and I had to pay the office visit which was $35 - I thought that was great! more

My dog has been in the care of Mohnacky Animal Hospital for almost 10 years. He's a very healthy Australian Shepherd and the few times we've had minor issues they have been taken care of immediately and very well. more

Exceptional on all levels. 3/24/2010

My experience with this office has been exceptional on all levels, from the girls at the desk to the vet techs compassion when our min pin was to ill to carry on & our golden retriever had a stroke. The doctors there & the staff have provided exceptional care to all our animals especially our new addition, KONA (shar pei), who has undergone so much in her little life including eye surgery. You all are angels! 3/22/2010

We had an unusually large Newfoundland that had several knee surgeries. His recovery was very difficult because he was so big. Their Ortho Doctor is exceptional. His knowledge impressive and I so appreciated the fact that he took the time with us to explain everything until we understood it and all the options of treatment. The staff was awesome coming out to the car to help me get him out with a splinted leg, and then again to help me get him back in the car. I felt he was in caring hands. I can never thanks Dr. G and his Gang enough. You all are angels. -Happy Pet Owner. more

Saved my dog's life! 3/18/2010

I have taken several of my pets, (dogs and cats). This hospital saved my dog's life. I know if it hadn't been for them she wouldn't be alive today. The specialist at the other hospitals could not figure out what the problem was.. I gave up with them and took my dog to Mohnacky in Carlsbad and after the the correct testing and care she is alive and strong today It's worth the money to take your loved one to someone who knows what the heck they are doing. Thanks to the doctors and staff at Mohancky Animal Hospital. more
