Dr. George of Carlsbad performed surgery on my dog Lillie. A friend who happens to be a Vet saw her 5 days later, and was so impressed that Lillie was doing so well in such a short period of time. I have complete confidence in Dr. George and am so pleased that Lillie has improved so quickly. My only challenge is keeping her reasonably quiet until she is completely healed. more

I am very pleased with the care of my dog Norah Jones by Dr. Stephens and the staff at Carlsbad. As always the procedure was explained & questions were answered. because Norah was going to have an anesthetic procedure in the future and the doctor offered options so as not to not compromise her with health. more

I had a great experience in the Mohnacky Animal Hospital of Carlsbad. Dr. George was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was thoroughly explained to us and i was contacted daily with updates on Shelby's care. Thank you very much for caring for Shelby. We greatly appreciate your service. more

Thank you to the staff 6/8/2011

On May 4th, we brought our dog in for a follow up visit from the emergency clinic. Your doctor determined that Sedona would not heal on her own and surgery was the next step. They were able to do the surgery right away. The staff was very caring and sensitive towards our concerns about the procedure. We received daily called from the staff updating us on her progress. We were allowed to visit Sedona before and after surgery which was very important to our family. My youngest son has such a strong bond with Sedona and treats her like a sibling and not a pet. Sedona helps fill a void that my son experiences while my husband is deployed overseas. Thank you to the staff at Mohnacky Carlsbad for providing such wonderful care for our Sedona more

Wonderful and have taken great care of Smokey. 6/3/2011

Dr. George at the Carlsbad Mohnacky Animal hospital has taken care of my dog Smokey since he was diagnosed with hip dysphasia in February 2010. On May 4th 2011, Smokey underwent the Helica Total Hip Replacement. Today he is the happiest he has been in a long time. Dr. George and the entire staff of Mohnacky Carlsbad is Wonderful and have taken great care of Smokey. more

I can not begin to express my feelings of gratitude to all at Mohnacky Animal Hospital of Carlsbad. While i was in PA Caring for my ill mother, i received a call from my dog sitter saying my pet Ashley was ill and called Mohnacky and then immediately received her without hesitation and began to care for her subsequently. I was told Ashley had a large mass in her abdomen. I was devastated! They could perform surgery and Ashley would do well. Today I am taking Ashley home confident she will recover. Thanks to the care, compassion, and treatment received at Mohnacky Animal Hospital. Sincere Appreciation. more

taff members clearly cared about our Peanut 5/25/2011

From The First Visit to the Vista practice and through the process of being referred to the Carlsbad practice for surgery, it was obvious that the staff members clearly cared about our Peanut. The doctor explained clearly what the procedure entailed and why it was necessary. Mary Explained the cost and was more then willing to work with us through the payment process. With the exception of one evening call, we received the twice daily update calls as promised. Overall we are very satisfied with the care that was given to both Peanut and Us Humans. more

Everyone provides explanations to include kindness, caring, sensitive understanding to go above, excel even when the owner has a difficult time with hospice care and their pet's needs. They understand when you have loss without you having to explain your thoughts. Their proactive explanations to help the owner understand the needed tests for preventative care prevent costly treatments that are needed and provide lasting pet ownership toward the long, happy and active life of your pet. The best care in the USA! more

Come here for great customer service and care I have recently moved to California and I brought my 2 dogs here for a rabies vaccination. The receptionist was extremely friendly and checked me in promptly. After they gathered my information the doctor came in and introduced herself to me. She was very friendly and got down on the floor with my dogs jumping all over her! She performed a very thorough physical exam on my two pets who were only there for a rabies shot. She took the time to get to know me since I was new to the area and advised some recommendations on grooming for my pets. I would have liked her to give my dogs the vaccinations as they were then brought to the back for a tech to do however I was quickly helped at the front desk and my dogs came back out to me very happy. I will definately go back!! Very caring vet and staff.. more

Our 17 Week old Akita Puppy had something wrong with her right leg, it was bowed and 2-3 inches shorter then the other leg. I was referred to Dr George by Dr Dixon @ Mohnacky Escondido and could not have had two better doctors. Dr. George and his staff at Carlsbad were very patient with me and my husband and answered all of our questions no matter how many times it was repeated. Everyone could see how emotionally upset i was and was treated with such kindness, and their smiles made me feel so much better, Knowing Nikki was in excellent care made her surgery more relaxing for me. Jamie is an excellent nurse,..Very patient and kindhearted. My experience has been great. Dr. George explained the pre-surgery, surgery, and post-surgery in great detail. We couldn't have asked for anyone more qualified. The Mohnacky Animal Hospital Came highly recommended and i am truly appreciative of everyone there. more

Dr. Djordjevich in Carlsbad saved our dear Elway 4/25/2011

Dr. Djordjevich in Carlsbad saved our dear Elway, a 9-year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. In February 2010, Elway had a heart attack from a defective heart valve degeneration. After CPR at home, we brought her back to life! The prognosis was grim. The 'textbook' prognosis was 2-8 weeks. But Dr. Djordjevich was hopeful and optimistic and put Elway on the prescribed medicines for his condition, plus an additional 'human' heart medicine. Dr. Djordjevich also started Elway on pet stem cells (StemPet). Our first goal was to make it to September 1, 2010, Elway's 10th birthday. We made it. The next goal was Christmas 2010 and we made it. Our next goal is February 12, 2011, which will be one year. We are now nearing the end of January 2011, so we are hopeful we'll get past the one-year mark. Every day we have Elway is a gift. Thanks so much to Mohnacky Animal Hospital! By far the best vets we have seen with our three Cavaliers (Elways, Kobe, and Tiger). more

Mohnacky Animal Hospital 4/6/2011

Mohnacky Animal Hospital is a great place. I've brought both my dogs to Carlsbad over two years and have never had any problems. The staff is very friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. One of my dogs recently had surgery and they called to check up on her and called several times throughout the procedure to le6t me know how she is doing. It's hard to find a place where you trust them with your animals and Mohnacky is definitely that place! more

Ben was 9 years old in 2008 when Dr George in Carlsbad did his surgery. He is now 12 and running and playing and just the happiest dog ever. He recovered and was fully running again in about 6 months because i kept him on a very short leash until then. I just meant to write to say thank you to the doctor, and it was money very well spent! Thank You! Thank You! more

I will always be grateful. 3/23/2011

When i adopted Tulip, a Ten year old, one eyed pekinese, i thought i might be able to offer her a good home for one or two years. She had chronic health issues that should have significantly shortened her life, yet tulip was happy and active in her senior years. Thanks to the expertise and caring of the doctors and staff of Mohnacky of Carlsbad my "Little Girl" made it to 15 1/2. I cant begin to put a value on the gift of those extra years. I will always be grateful. more
