Beautiful, Stuning, and fun 12/6/2006

I love museums so naturally I thought my kids (not my real kids, my school kids I work with) would love the museum too, and they did. This is a fantastic place filled with the beautiful, bizzare, odd, and interesting. The docents were fantastic with the kids, reminding them always not to touch, but to touch with your eyes. The Museum store was also fantastic with many little pieces of art you can take home. We had a wonderful time here. more

More art musuems !! 8/19/2005

This is a great musuem. They have a resturant inside that has really good food. This muesuem also has some really great exhibits. I love going to this musuem i can spend hours in here looking at all of these great exhibits. Like most places on weekends it can be crowded. So i would recommend going on a weekend if you have time. more

Modern Art Museum Of Fort Worth 8/16/2005

From the giant sculpture in the front, you know this museum is one to go to if you are into modern art. Actually, even if you aren't into modern art you will like this museum because its so interesting with the various exhibits that make you just marvel at the simplicity and what was running through the artists head. They had a very cool exhibit about Don Flavin a while back. more

one of my favs 8/10/2005

i havent been to alot of other art museum in other cities, but i love the one in fort worth. the exhibits are fantastic. as always you have to have your own taste of "art" and ifnd what you enjoy personally. i think they have a good selection for everyone though. ive heard their gift shop is full of great stuff. they also show movies. more

Even the building is art work 8/10/2005

This is a really well done museum and the design of the building itself is a work of art. There is a lot of cool stuff to see and the special exhibit rotates so you can go multiple times and see new items. They do allow photography in the collection, but not for any special exhibits. There is plenty of parking and it is very easy to get to off of I-30 in Fort Worth. My favorite thing about this place is that you can walk around a lot of the art since it's not all stuck on the walls. more

Fort Worth is lucky to have The Modern. It's sleek, sophisticated, impressive, and boasts a collection of modern art to rival any in the country. Its amazing Tadao Ando-designed facility is perfectly suited to the treasures inside. They have outstanding programs for students of all ages. The Cafe Modern is a first-rate restaurant, as well, All in all, the experience of the Modern, whether there is a special exhibition or not, is well worth the price of admission or membership. more
