I have been coming to Joanne for my haircuts for about a year and I have nothing but good things to say. She is courteous and friendly and projects a good image for your salon.

Great stylist, cut 10/11/2011

Super friendly, great cut, good coffee ;) My only complaint: it was my first service there and when I asked if I could use the "first service" discount they said "only if you book a spa appointment".. it was my first haircut there. The discount card didn't seem to indicate it was for spa only, just said 15% off first service. i didn't want to get into the whole false advertising thing but I generally think a higher end establishment will honor a nominal discount like that if it's at all confusing. I wasn't impressed by that "stinginess" from the front desk staff. more

30 Minute Chair Massage 10/4/2011

The massage was excellent and I felt much less tension in my back and neck once it was done. Ironically, while it was relaxing as I was massaged, she finished with a cool technique that woke me up and kept me going for the rest of the day with a series of raki techniques I believe. more

Nice haircut with short notice 10/4/2011

This was the first time I've used the Mode Organic Salon at the Commons but I was getting hair desperate; I'd put off getting my hair cut for far too long. I was very pleased that I was able to get an appointment the same day. Joanne was great; we talked together about what worked for me from a lifestyle standpoint, she checked out my hair to see what it'd be happy doing, and she offered suggestions without ever being pushy (come on people: you know you've been to salons where you end up with their haircut, not yours). When it came time for the cut itself, she took care yet had confidence and executed perfectly on what we talked about. I'm very pleased with the whole experience. Highly recommended. more

Rachelle just took my decaying "summer hair" and turned it a rich red-brown. It's also shiny again, with a nice little trim including the awesome "undercut" she does for me. Awesome service as always! more

First Time Customer - Now Long-Term Custome 9/21/2011

Yesterday was my first visit to Mode Organic Salon. I will be a long term customer as a result of the experience with Joanne. She was incredible! Joanne took the time to understand what I wanted and a brief history of my hair. She made great recommendations, which resulted in a fabulous cut and color. She also took the time to tell me how she was styling my hair, and the why around each product. Not in a pushy sales manner, but a comfortable fyi, educational manner. Joanne is the first stylist to ever make my hair presentable post-appointment. Better yet, as a result of her guidance, I was able to somewhat replicate her styling today so feel just as great the day after. more

Nice staff 9/19/2011

Color and highlights, the color turned out but the highlights were not intense enough. This is the second time I received highlights and was disappointed in the cost and the way they turned out. I recommend this place because of the services and Chi hair color which offers ammonia free-complete color control. more

Convenient location and amicable staff 9/17/2011

I've been getting haircuts at the Mode Salon in the Microsoft Commons for a while now and they provide excellent service. Everyone working there is both helpful and friendly and service is always delivered with a smile. I am always offered a beverage while I wait for my stylist, though that wait is practically nonexistant. The only downside is that they're a little costlier than other places but the staff, the convenience of the location (if you're a Microsoft employee) and the level of service make it more than worth it in my eyes. Definitely recommend this place! more

I love Mode Organic Salon. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful, it is a pleasure to have any service. They bend over backwards to accomodate my schedule, send text reminders for my appointments, and I get a fantastic haircut at a reasonable price. more

Love the online scheduling option 9/9/2011

Used the online scheduling for the first time. My request for the exact time I wanted was confirmed within 24 hours. I got a text message the morning of my appointment. Then I literally had to wait 60 seconds for my appointment once I got to the salon. All of this for a 10 minute appointment to get my eyebrows waxed. LOVE IT! Thank you Mode for making the online option available. Makes my life so much easier. more
