If your looking for knowlegable staff, this is the place to buy. I was very suprised at how friendly their sales team was. Don't be afraid to ask a question becuase they won't be araid to answer and then some. Pricing is also reasonable considering small chains are usually higher in price than large chains. My onle knock is the refund policy. No returns or exchange on supplies or equipment. Other than the return policy this store rocks!!! I would recommend getting you exotic pets and rare parts and supplies here but if your buying say for example; a fish filter or a tank, buy it from a larger chain if you believe there is a possibility you may return it. more

Moby Dick Pet Store 10/8/2008

I have been coming here since they opened in the 70's.\r I love this place - almost like going to the zoo or aquatic museum, only no admission fee! The staff has always been very professional, knowledgeable and helpful! \r \r Chrissy the Rat Lady is awesome, so is Gary, Chris, and all the others! more

Best selection 2/17/2008

I go there on a regular basis and i am never issapointed. their staff is highly knowledgible and their selectio0n is unbeatable. the only downside is that they get so packed with customers, that even their large number of employees dont seem to be enough sometimes more

Great visit and wish list 12/9/2007

I loved the selection of freshwater and saltwater fish they had at the store. I am an animal buff and love reptiles as well as birds, hamsters, and rats. They had extermly knowledgeable staff and big selection of live products.... They had a larger selection of live stock then the large pet stores in my area. The pricing was great also... I just wish they had a web site so I can check for products before driving all they way out there... I would also love to get advance notice of sales from a website. keep doing what you are doing. great store and great staff more

Absolutly Wonderful! 7/11/2007

We heard about Moby Dicks and decided to check it out for ourselves. Not only did we get great deals on our marine fish, but his corals are very well priced. All of the tanks looked in great shape and none of his fish appeared to be sick. Top quality marine life!!! I was very impressed with such a small business. This is now one of our main fish suppliers. The salt water manager was highly knowledgable about everything he carried and offered me advice on feeding my mandarin. Thank you so much to this company you really put the fun back into this hobby for us! more

to this pet store for my fish and aquariam. I have saltwater tanks and this independent store provides personal and gret service. The staff is willing to help and answer questions. They carry a fantastic selection which also includes birds ans retiles. If you are an expert or a beginner this is a great place to come a get supplies. PROS: would recommend CONS: more

Nice place! 11/23/2005

I love going to Moby dick and can even remember going 25 years ago as a child. The has a great selection and the staff is so friendly and helpful. My kids want to stop everytime we drive by, they love the fish! I have even had to call with questions and they helped me right over the phone. more

Very nice selection, good staff 9/6/2005

I have been to this pet store several times and I always leave saying, "man I wish this was closer to my house". The staff is very knowledgeable and makes sure that you know what you are buying. They care for their animals and it shows. Specifically had a very nice selection of reptiles and fish. more
