Yesterday was my second experience at Mizumi and it was by far the worst experience at a restaurant I've had. I had returned to Mizumi for the second time because my first experience was so great. Our waitress (Jessica or Jennifer can't remember) was friendly and spoke perfect English, our sushi was great tasting and fresh, and our food came out very promptly. So my wife and I asked a few friends to join us for a great night out at Mizumi, which turned out to be utterly disappointing. Firstly our waitress (can't remember her name) couldn't speak English very well and to be honest, we couldn't understand what she was saying. My wife and I ordered sushi (which came out really late), and our friends ordered food from the kitchen. Not only was the order wrong, but the food tasted very bad. It was not authentic, too salty, very little meat for what it costs, and the tempura is the worst I have seen at any japanese restaurant. . When we tried to get our waitress' attention to complain about the food, she would rush off to another table, as if she hadn't seen us waving our hands in the air. I have no complaints for the sushi other than it takes a long time for it to come out. Mizumi needs to either learn from other restaurants how to cook their kitchen food or lower their prices for their poor tasting foods. They also need to get rid of that rude and hard to understand waitress.\r
Pros: Good sushi
Cons: Horrible kitchen food and service
