We've been going to Mitra for three years now. Food still delicious, service still very good, ambience still just terrific. We sat outside, which is really inside but with large windows (garage doors) that open up. What a wonderful ambience. We've never had a bad meal here and never experienced any of the problems that others have. Give 'em a boost folks!!!! Pros: Still really good!!!! more

I dined outside on the patio at Mitra with a large group of people which I think was a mistake... I would recommend Mitra as more of a date place. The restaurant itself is casual and cozy yet very small and quaint with very minimal noise. The service was a bit slow, but that could have been due to the fact that we had about 7 people in our party. Overall, I was satisfied with my dining experience. However, the selection of meatless entrees to choose from were nonexistent... so if you are a vegetarian, steer clear of Mitra. Pros: ambience and food Cons: slow service more

My wife and I recently had our anniversary dinner there and I was not impressed with their service. There were only three other parties in the dining room, and yet the service was suprisingly slow. I had requested champaigne on the reservation to be delivered to the table, but it never happened! Although, I will say that the food was so good that we didn't care about the poor service. The filet was one of the best I've had and the flash fried oysters were great too. I would go back to Mitra, but I would be concerned with the level of service for such a great restaurant. Of all the restaurants in Atlanta (from Buckhead to Midtown to Downtown) Mitra is on the top of my list! This place goes above and beyond every time I visit, and every time I am amazed that the food and the service are as fabulous as the time before! If you are looking for a place to have a drink, a night out for dinner with friends or a special occasion with a loved one this is the place! The food is wonderful, the prices are perfect, the atmosphere is intoxicating and there is no better service/staff any where I have ever been. I recommend Mitra to everyone I know...and will continue to do so over and over again! Pros: Service, Food , Atmosphere Cons: None more

You're in for a treat... Mitra is the best place in midtown to impress a date or a client... the food is presented beautifully by a professional staff, don't miss the Calemari appetizers, best in Atlanta. You can't go wrong with any of the main dishes, I've had several client dinners there and have tried them all, excellent food all around.
