All Dr. Mitchell seems to do is prescribe medications, even tho the medications he prescribes are NOT related to the diagnosis. So, is he misdiagnosing my son so he can experiment different drugs on him or is he that stupid? I took my son to him for almost 2 years, I finally had had enough of the over medication and found my son a new Dr. In the past 4 months that we have seen the new Dr, he completely changed his medications around and now my son is doing GREAT! Please, if you want to HELP your child, stay AWAY from this man and his entire practice. If you want to OVER MEDICATE your child, then by all means, he is the 1 you're looking for. more

He was treating my children through my ex-wife with drugs that aren't used for treating the illnesses that he says they were being treated for. When I asked him why he was giving them these mind altering drugs that aren't even considered effective for these illnesses, his response was, ""in my experience as a practitioner they work"". I then asked him to show me the data that supported his conclusion. He smugly replied that he was not a researcher - He was a practitioner. My question is shouldn't he be first trying medications that have been shown effective by the research community that adds any credence to the things he does as a practitioner? Dr. Jeff Layne more

Amazing results!!!!!!! 1/13/2012

Have gone to many doctors and councelores for over a dozen years for depression, and never received any real relief. They have put me on drug after drug, and they only made me worse. Was always in a fog. Now I see Mike Hobson, and Dr. Mitchell, and they say that all these years I have been misdiagnosed with depression, whn I really have bipolar B, and began to treat me for it. It has been a couple of months, and I feel like the old me has finally returned. They know what they are doing, and do it well!! more

Jeff Yetter really helped me and with out the guidence he gave me i wouldnt be where i am today! i just applied to MVCTC i am on honor roll and have made an 180 turn from where i was! he is a great person and he does a great job with everything he does! thank you alot Jeff! more

I have been seeing Jeff Yetter @ Dr. Mitchell's office for almost a year. I was abused by my ex-husband to the point of having absolutely no self -esteem. Jeff Yetter is a very kind hearted person. He is both professional and personable; he makes me feel like I am a human who is indeed worthy of the help I have needed for so long. The thing that most impresses me about Jeff Yetter is that he is a man of God. He gives God the credit for his talents and abilities. He takes the time to guide me through the process of getting my life back. My ex-husband took so much away, and with Jeff Yetter's help I am beginning to feel as though I can finally have a happy life. Pros: Very respectful person more

Michael Hobson - Great Llstener, Counselor, and Therapist 2/24/2009

Michael Hobson has been a great counselor. I am still undergoing therapy with him and enjoy his style. He is very conversational, and doesn't tell you you should act or make a decision this way or that way. He walks you through your issues so that YOU understand them and can make the choices yourself - and so you understand your choices and what the implications of each are. He is not judgmental - so I don't know how the previous reviewer would come up with a review for a person she's never talked to in a clinical setting. That just isn't Mr. Hobson's style. He's been great for me and I am still continuing my therapy with him. Pros: Shares office with Psychiatrist more

Don't see Mike Hobson 1/5/2009

Mike Hobson saw my children and helped their father further alienate them from me, their mother. He refused to talk with me over the phone or meet with me in person, yet he made up plenty of lies about me. He refused to give me their records, even though I am their mother. Don't go see him if you care about your kids. more
