Dr. Soliman is one of a kind! We found her during a HORRIBLE experience with another vet, and with a VERY sick dog. She was reassuring, patient, skilled, and not out to empty my pocket book! I love the personal way her office is ran. She is now the only one I will trust my animals with. more

Mississippi Animal Hospital staff and Dr. Soloman are wonderful! When we adopted our first dog, Dr. Soloman counseled us about vaccinations, treatments & what to keep her away from. Being a small breed pup, she kept getting into things & Dr. Soloman & her staff were always available to see her & treat her, even around the holidays! We've now adopted a lab mix puppy & between the 2 of them, we are constantly in touch with the clinic. They are reasonable in their approaches as well as their treatment costs. They are always welcoming when we walk in & call to check in on the pups after the fact. I feel confident that I will always find the care that my puppies need thanks to Dr. Soloman! more

I have been going to this vet clinic for over a year and Dr. Soliman has treated all four of my cats three of them are senior kitty's. My friends and family also bring their animals here. I don't know about these other people having issues but it seems like people are always out to get something for free with coupons. Vets aren't able to give out free services, they have to run their clinic like every other business. Dr. Soliman is one of the best vets I have ever been to. One of my senior kitties died last year from old age and she was the best. Her and her staff did so much for me during that difficult time. Also my other senior male cat has had two major surgeries with Dr. Soliman, one to remove a tumor and also she had to remove 4 of his rotten teeth. The surgeries were tough for him because of his old age, but Dr. Soliman and her staff were great. They instructed me on all the medicines and he is doing great now and much better after having all that infection in his mouth gone. My other female cat had to have 6 teeth removed last year and she is also doing great. I think pet owners need to realize that the vet can only do so much for your animals post-surgery care and how your pet does afterwards is really up how attentive the owner is and your pet's will to live. All my cats received pain meds and I have used metacam on them with no problems. My mom has also used the same medicines on her cat with no issues. Some pets may have a bad reaction, it's just like people not everyone does well after surgery but this isn't the fault of vets. Dr. Soliman really does care about her patients, she is kindhearted and very knowledgeable and will give you options before she does any procedure. When you agree to a bill up front and then don't want to pay don't blame the vet clinic. Dr. Soliman and her staff have always been up front with me about the costs before she performed any procedure. I will continue to bring my remaining three old cats to this vet and clinic, she is the only one I trust with my babies! more

I have been going to Mississippi Animal Hospital now for over a year. Dr. Soliman is the most loving and responsible vet I have taken my animals to. She is always kind, patient, and takes her time to explain all options of concern and care necessary for my dogs to be as healthy as possible. She is willing to listen to any concerns I have. I am very thankful that she is also a surgeon so that I don't have to search for one when necessary. Dr. Soliman is a Veterinarian with integrity. Her pricing is very fair compared to my last Vet. I am grateful I found her! So are my 3 dogs!! more

Dr. Soliman is a very professional and compassionate vet. I have a 16 year old cat who received a dental cleaning at Mississippi Animal Hospital and is doing very well. I knew my cat was in good hands. Dr. Soliman and her staff took wonderful care of Precious. Anesthesia can be difficult to administer to an older pet, and Dr. Soliman was conservative in her approach with my cat. I highly recommend Dr. Soliman to anyone who wants to give their pet excellent veterinarian care. more

I will not be going back to that place not even with my dog needing the post procedure check up that I paid for in advance. When I went in with an emergency I was treated to a long list of services that the hospital offers instead of the Dr addressing the issue that had us go there. I do not appreciate up selling especially when my dog is standing there and in pain. I left my dog there and upon returning to retrieve her I was greeted by the Dr. who informed me that she may be in need of surgery that would determined with the post procedure check up. Then came the bill for that day $460.02. I had a coupon for 50% off ""all services"" on the first visit. It was my dog's first visit and the coupon with no expiration date was refused as being ""old"". The coupon which if applied would have had us back there every month for the rest of my dogs life (she is 3 1/2 years old) was not honored by the very issuer. My dog needs her shots, and there is the possibility that she may need to undergo surgery, and she will need to be seen monthly and the Dr. threw away any possibility of future dealings with her or the hospital as a consequence of her lack of respecting a coupon without an expiration date that she put out for clients. Additionally I called the office on Thursday the day after my dogs treatment and asked them to have the Dr. call me.........it is now the following Monday and no one, not the Dr. or any member of her staff has called me back. Is this what you want for your pet(s)? I may have lost $230.01 because her interest was in keeping the money that day but she lost ever so much more, years of $$$$$$ that would have been flowing in monthly. Once in a while you give a little and wind up getting a lot back but it is the difference in thinking about the here and now and the bigger picture of what the future will hold. For my dog I want competent, first quality CARE. I want a CALL RETURNED, there were issues and I had to resort to going online to get answers to care for my dog's issues. I don't think my dog's care should be a research project online but she couldn't be bothered calling me back. Oh and when I called to ask the office to have her call me......they didn't even ask how my dog was doing. So save yourself the aggravation, the stress, the anxiety and find a Vet that puts the care and well being of pets before the almighty dollar! more

I would not recommend Dr. Soliman at the Mississippi Animal Hospital, as I had a heart wrenching\r experience there. I really don't care if staff and/or doctor is friendly. However, what I \r passionately care about is the skill and knowledge the Dr. possesses. My 7 year old\r cat was treated by Dr. Soliman, and less than 36 hours later, she died. Dr. Soliman, at\r no time, gave any indication that my cat was seriously ill. \r \r I hope everyone takes the advice of Maggie C. If you continue to bring your cat to this\r place, be certain that metacam is not prescribed. more

The worst vet imaginable! If you love your cat, run far, far away from this place. My cat died as a result of Dr. Soliman prescribing Metacam, which is a black-box labeled drug specifically NOT to be administered to cats. Alameda East refuses to prescribe to cats unless the owners insist and fill out a liability waiver. Not so Dr. Soliman, who thinks she can give hugs to make up for the needless death of a cat. Please do not expose your cat to this horrible, horrible vet. more

I love Mississippi Animal Hospital and their entire staff. Everyone is friendly, caring, helpful and patient. They helped me through the loss of a beloved kitty with tenderness and understanding and my new kitty just had her first post-adoption visit where she was lavished with attention and care. Dr. Soliman and her staff go out of her way to treat both owner and pet with love and empathy. There are plenty of vets in the area, but they are all overpriced or rushed and harried. Patient rooms and the waiting area are always clean and free of nervous-animal stink. Making appointments is a breeze and you actually get in at your appointment time. more

We just moved back to Aurora and had not been into a vet for our toy poodle yet. In the past, with past pets we've gone to 2 other clinics. A friend said she loved this clinic and so when our little guy was very sick we called and they were great at getting us right in and treated right away. The vet herself was not rushed, listened carefully, and provided quick treatment that has him recovering today. The staff quickly contacted our vet and got recent lab records. I can't think of anything they could have done better. Thank you. more

I'm very picky about the vet I take my pets to. This one is top notch. Always friendly.\r I moved and they sent a couple of reminder postcards and then I got a phone call reminder. I appreciated that. more

This is the place to take your pet!\r \r Everyone here is so nice and helpful. The vets and vet techs really take the time to explain what they are doing, looking for and have found. In addition to being a great and knowledgeable group of people they are also extremely thorough. The exams are comprehensive and their follow up is fantastic. Something else I really love about this practice is that they go the extra mile in trying to accommodate you even if its for a last minute appointment.\r \r I have been a client here for almost five years and I will continue to be for as long as I live in Aurora. more

The people there were so very friendly and actually helped me book an appointment right away. I got an appointment very quickly even though it wasn't an emergency. When I got there they were pleased to see me and quickly copied all my records and had me in a room within 5 min.\r \r The nurse was very good with my dog even though she is very shy. The nurse and doctor came in quickly and were very helpful. They gave me the information and medication I needed no problem and I was in and out so quickly.\r \r I would recommend this place to any pet owner. The people were so nice and clearly love what they do. more

We brought our dog in because she had an eye infection, a skin rash, and some discharge from her nose. We left her there for further examination and picked her up later the same day. Although the exam was free, we still had to pay for Boba's medication.\r The entire staff was friendly. Promptly greeted when we arrived. more

I just want to re-affirm my love for this vet. We have now been going here for almost a year and every visit is just great. One of my dogs had a bladder infection and Dr Sunshine helped every step of the way. He helped diagnose with x-rays and an ultrasound, and always made sure that we were doing the cheapest AND most effective treatment for the dog. He never tried to over sell us, and if one of the treatments didn't work he didn't charge us.\r My dog is all better now and didn't even have to have surgery. It was a great experience, and we will definitely keep going back! more

They helped me through a very difficult period, displaying a kindness and genuine empathy that I will not soon forget. Dr. Sunshine is very professional, speaking with confidence and authority while maintaining simultaneously an excellent bed side manner with the patient. The rest of the staff was equally competent and very caring. The facilities, including the waiting area and the examination rooms are clean and well-maintained. And the exterior is very nice. I think they are so great that I drive all the way down from Denver to bring my dog here. They really give him comprehensive care and love -- I know they are with me in wanting him to be the healthiest golden doodle he can be. I can't say enough good things about them! more

I've been going to Mississippi Animal Hospital for 3 years now and I adore them. In addition to my dog's normal maintenance and a few minor other situations (where they've done a great job) Dr. Sunshine did her ACL surgery for CHEAP and did an AMAZING job- she's back to 100% and I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for it. He is so great about explaining why he wants to do what he wants to do when it comes to her treatment and they are always big on the least invasive approach 1st before making you drop the big bucks. I'm sad to read some of the other reviews, because I've never had these experiences. I went to 3 other vets before I found them and I am more than happy with all they've done for my pup. more

My first visit and Dr. Sunshine was extremely knowledgeable, obviously compassionate, conscientious about the costs. The facility is super fine and the staff very helpful. These all count a great deal when your best friend is sick. They put my mind at ease, treated my dog and did not rob my bank. What more could you ask for? more
