It has been three weeks since I had a funeral service for my wife who passed away of breast cancer. She fought hard. It was hardest thing I have ever had to deal with in my life. I told the nurse to call Mission Park Funeral Home when my wife passed. From there on I was carried through every detail. As I look back on these difficult days I thank God for the staff at Mission Park and for giving them the strength to help people like me during the worst time of their life. more

For generations my family used another funeral home in San Antonio. So following tradition I called them when my Mother died and it was the worst experience of my life. They were cold, rude and aggressive. They didn't care about us at all. A few weeks later my Father died and my friend suggested I call Mission Park. I am so glad I did as the staff was so nice, sympathetic, kind and generous. Having to funeral services just a few weeks apart really allowed me to see that there is a difference in service from funeral homes. I so badly didn't want my children to experience what I did at the other funeral home so I made our advance funeral plans with Mission Park knowing that Mission part will treat my children they way I was treated. They treat you like family... 6/21/2013

Never thought to review a funeral home, but here it goes. My family celebrated the life of a family member back in July. What I appreciated most was that they were willing to help and accomodate to anything and every tradition that families may request. They do treat you like family. We were able to set up a video stream of photos and they also allowed us to set up a candle light vigil and a balloon realease in memory of our loved one. Thank you more

Everything was perfect 3/27/2013

The funeral director was thorough, kind, understanding and friendly. He was informative and not overbearing or pushy. My husbands face was perfect. He looked 20 years younger. He looked pleased and comfortable, even happy. We all appreciated the homy feeling of the facilities and the kindness of the staff. In all I'd say everything was perfect. Thank you more

Caring and compassionate 2/27/2013

My sister did not want an open casket. When I saw her, and how peaceful she looked, I knew she was finally at peace, and I wanted all her friends and family to see that. I cannot thank the staff for all their caring and compassion. more
