Funny how if you go to a Chinese restaurant in India (I have), it tastes like Indian food. Actually, that's a really interesting combination. Yum.\r

A little stranger is an Indian restaurant in America that tastes like Chinese food. My companion and I both agreed, that is exactly how we'd characterize it.\r

This restaurant lives up to its name (Mirch = Hot Pepper, Masala = Spices). The Butter Chicken sauces, Naan, and Mango Lassi were all yummy, but a little salty. The tandoori Chicken Alfraidi might well have been served at Snappy Dragon. The chicken in my Butter Chicken had a similar Chinese taste. I'd say they were all on the oily side compared to most Indian restaurants. I hate to be prejudiced, but maybe I should've expected this when all the employees working there were Asian, not Indian.\r

Heavy spices somewhat make up for the lack of identity. The atmosphere is a little confused, too, but nice.
Pros: Heavy spices, good prices, wide selection of standard Indian fare, good veggie menu
Cons: Confused identity, strikingly similar to American Chinese food
