Abbrasive and rude 9/14/2011

Met for dinner with family and friends. Good food, but in the end it felt like we spent $200.00 at McDonalds during rush hour. Food is ""literally"" thrown at you, plates taken away and you are ushered out the door within 45 minutes. Don't go here if you want a nice casual dinner experience! We had to finish our socializing ""catching up"" in the parking lot. Went home extremely dissapointed. more

Rude, Nasty, Trashy 1/29/2011

A group of my professional friends and I have frequented this establishment and noticed a decline in service. Last night, manager was so rude, nasty, and anxiety provoking because our members came at 6 pm vs 5:45. He asked me to text them to get their order. He then asked us to leave our table before we were finished with our meal. They overbook their tables at the expense of respectful customer service. I have never encountered such rudeness. Was not looking for Japanese fast food! PS we order filet mignon and lobster; not cheap chicken meals and always tip well. We will be dining at Katana, Asaki and Shogun where we are treated with respect. PS I recently began chemotherapy for breast cancer and this was my first outing. NEVER AGAIN will we patronize this restaurant. more

RUDE 1/29/2011

I have been to this restaurant many times but this last time I have never had such an horrible experience as last night. The manager was so rude and disrespectful. We were rushed through our meal and unable to have an enjoyable dinner with our large group of friends. We were told to take our drinks and dessert to the bar to finish. We have always enjoyed Japanese food but we will never return to this place. They aren't the only Japanese place in WB.\r Sayonara Mirakuya\r more

Avoid this Poor Excuse for Customer Service 12/21/2008

Visited this restaurant with three others in my family.I ordered sushi, they all ordered hibachi. Their food was served and they were completely finished and my order was not brought out yet. I inquired and was told the sushi chef was busy with buffet orders, yet I just witnessed him standing around talking, and not working on orders. Then I was told my order had been boxed, do I want it to be served or take it home? I said I would take it home, but do not expect to pay. They refused to provide the order as complimentary even though they screwed up. I WAS a regular customer, but will NO LONGER return. I would suggest you avoid this disaster yourself and choose another of the areas sushi restaurants.\r Cons: Poor Customer Service Toward Regular Customer more

The Most Awesome Japanese Food You Can Get 12/4/2008

This place is the best I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. I've been to Japanese Restaurants in New York, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Aruba, Cancun, Clarks Summit, New Jersey, and none can compare with the awesome food, service, and prices that Mirakuya has. Jim and his wife Jennifer run the place so smoothly. They greet you with a smile, and always come around to personally see that everything is satisfactory. Jim's brother Kevin, is also a treat, as he helps his family run the business. Sake shots aside, this is like dinner and a show...even better than Bennihana. Mirakuya is Ichiban! more
