If I could give Minnieville 10 stars, I would. We've been with MAH for 15 years and I have to say this is definitely our family doctor's office. Thank you to Dr. Hond and Waite and the ENTIRE Minnieville staff. There's the personal touch and then there's being treated like family. We are so happy and thankful to be part of the Minnieville Animal Hospital family and we are so happy and THRILLED To have you as part of ours. WE LOVE YOU! more

FOREVER GREATFUL!! We love MINNIEVILLE!! 12/2/2011

I went to Minnieville Animal Hospital as an emergency. I was hoping another vet clinic could take me as soon as possible because my dog had been vomiting dark blood all morning and I didn't want to spend a fortune going to Woodbridge because they charge over a hundred dollars to get seen without an appointment even during business hours. The nurse I spoke to on the phone said that they were completely booked but because it sounded so serious, to come in straight away.. even without me being a client!! I rushed my dog there and saw Dr. Waite who was wonderful. She seemed to really be concerned for my animal and rushed him to the back to do bloodwork and xrays. My dog had eaten a sock and she made him a priority and rushed him to surgery. I thought he was a goner and Dr. Waite said it would be a rough surgery because the sock cut his intestines and made him toxic. They had a tech check on him several times that night after hours just for me. Needless to say my dog is back to his more

I just wanted to say that my visits to this clinic have been great. I was impressed with both Dr Waite and Dr Hong. My dog had been sick for a while and I had come here for a second opinion. Well, to make the story short, after a few tests the problem was found and my sweet girl is back her old self. From the Doctors to the staff they were very compassionate and caring ( just like their ad says).I cannot thank them enough. We are now lifetime clients. Thank you all at Minnieville Animal Hospital !!!!!!!!! more

boarding nightmare 5/9/2011

I recently moved to the area and needed to board my four cats. I chose this vet based on the wonderful reviews that I read. The cost for the boarding was reasonable, but the added costs were a bit extreme. I understand the need for Capstar, but all four cats were required to have a bath before I picked them up. The cost of the bath was not listed, but would be discounted for boarders. This discounted bath was $18.00 per cat. Capstar for four cats was $20. Bio Hazard waste removal was $2.50 per cat. The cost of boarding was $18.00 per day. So, instead of the quoted $18.00 per day, the cost is actually $18.00 per day plus an additional charge of $25.50 per cat. My boarding bill for 4 cats for 3 days was $318.00. While this was a cost I was willing to pay of quality care, what I did not expect was to pick-up my cats, then discover one was noticeably sick when I got home. I tried to call the office back, but they were closed. I left a message with the emergency service, but did not receive more

Glad we went there. 4/12/2011

we recently went to this clinic because a friend said it was a very nice place and their prices were reasonable.\r The staff were very nice and it was clean and there was no offensive odors. It was very busy when we first arrived but, we got into the exam room within 10 to 15 minutes after signing in. The Doctor came in shortly and was very pleasant and did a through exam. He did blood work and some shots, and explained what the problem was and what the treatment would be. All in all,\r we are happy with this new clinic and will recommend it to family and other friends. \r \r more

wonderfull people no hidden fees 12/7/2010

I moved here a few years ago and had been taking my pets to a doctor I was not very happy with, it seemed like everytime I turned around there were untold charges. I got a new puppy and was referred to this Hospital by a neighbor, I of course was a little skeptical just as anyone is when changing doctors.\r \r This Hospital made me feel like they had known me forever, I wasn't charged an office fee for everytime he got his vaccines, and when he was altered the exam and all was priced together even including one of those collars they send home to keep them from bothering the surgical area, although he looked funny as anything walking around in that thing it was explained why it was important and I used it. \r \r I have to say I was amazed at the caring staff who called after my first visit to check on my pet and the doctors with their full explanations of all procedures and the follow up call after surgery. \r \r I suggest anyone looking into a new place should try this facility , it is clean and the people are so enjoyable to be around and the Doctors are great.\r more

Excellent Animal Hospital 12/3/2010

I had been looking for a new Animal Hospital to take my babies to. I found this hospital and it certainly is the right place to be. It is very clean and the Doctors, Dr Hong & Dr Waite are very knowledgeable, professional, and they certainly care about our fur-babies. Everything was explained and all my questions were answered. Both visits were very pleasant and I did not feel rushed through like some of the hospitals I had been in. The receptionist and technicians were very nice and helpful and the costs were very reasonable. I am certainly going to refer all my friends there. Good work Minnieville!! more

Impressed and Happy 9/1/2010

Dr. Waite is outstanding!! She takes care of all three of my dogs and is always patient and calm. My dogs go right to her and that is a first. They are actually excited to see her. She does not jump to quick diagnosis and is very competent and thorough. I'm in the healthcare profession and looked long and hard to find such a caring vet. She is a true professional, dedicated to her patients and their well-being. Her staff is loyal and caring, as well. more

Highly recommended!! 5/13/2010

I recently moved to the area, and was looking for a Vet, when I saw Minnieville Animal Hospital, I stopped in and made an appointment. The receptionists at the front desk were very helpful, kind, and informative. The following week, I brought my dog in to be examined by Dr. Waite. \r When I walked in the receptionists were, again were very kind and helpful. After speaking with them, my next step was to wait, I thought, however I was brought right in the room by one of the technitions there. The tech took my dog's temp and ran some other tests. They were very cheerful, and was showing my dog alot of undivided attention! \r After all the tests were done, Dr. Waite walked in and was very informative..She then proceeded to give my dog vaccinations, and explained what some of the vaccines were that I was not familiar with. She spent some time with us in the room!!! When it came time to checking out, The cheerful staff made it simple, and the prices were very reasonable!!!! I highly more

I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Waite since she joined the practice a few months ago. I can't speak highly enough about her, and have been recommending that all of my friends with pets take them to see her. I have friends that are willing to drive the her office from all over the Northern Virginia area to have their pets treated. Not one of them have regretted making the change. We have used Dr. Hong and his staff since 1988..for all of our numerous pets. The technicians are thoughtful, involved, and caring, and Dr. Hong cared for our dear Brownie when Woodbridge Animal Hospital sent her home to die because we could not afford the treatments. Brownie survived another 2 - 3 years, thanks to the loving care she received. All of our animals have been treated well, and lovingly by Dr. Hong, Dr. Wait, and by the technicians at Minnieville Animal Hospital. You owe it to your pet to give them the best care you can. At Minnieville Animal Hospital, they are getting the best care you can provide for them. more

wonderfull service and care 3/6/2010

I have been going to Minnieville Animal Hospital for about 20 years, I have had every one of my pets treated there from minor issues to major surgeries all handled in the most loving and caring way that I think is ever possible, Dr. Hong has always been very helpfull and understanding and they now have a new vet,,, Dr. Waite ,let me tell you she is exceptional, you can't go wrong by letting these doctors take care of your pets, the staff is also very caring and has always treated me with respect and smiles,even as I came in on an emergency basis and they had a full schedule,they worked hard and took care of my baby as well as keeping the other pet owners updated on progress, Thank You all at Minnieville Animal Hospital more
