I'll start by saying that it is always scary to choose products for your home and companies to do work on your home. I am writing to help you make that decision! After obtaining several estimates for replacing windows in the condominium building I live in, it became very apparent that all 12 condo owners in my building liked what Minnesota Exteriors, Inc. (MEI) had to offer! We had a unanimous vote from the owners to use this company! It was a total pleasure working with our Salesperson, Brian Carlson, who was able to beat the competition and offer us great pricing on some great windows. The installers are very fast and very good. You will get the results you are looking for in no time! If anyone ever asks me for a referral on where to buy windows, I will always and forever recommend Minnesota Exteriors, Inc.! more

Outstanding Experience 1/28/2014

Minnesota Exteriors, Inc. provided my family with an excellent experience from beginning to end. We had particularly great experiences with Kelly O'Brien, their knowledgable sales professional and Lorna Carlson, their customer service representative. My wife and I made numerous changes (we were rookies) to the color of the materials and the scope of the project. We were never met with any resistance and were only treated professionally and MEI was very responsive to our questions. We had a tight budget and MEI was willing to honor our limits. They never tried to pressure us into spending more than we could afford. Once we met Mr. O'Brien, it was immediately clear that he is a wealth of knowledge about the products and industry. He was willing to give us the time we needed to completely understand the process, time frame and cost. When the job was being performed, the workers were respectful of our property and offered to lend an extra hand with some of the prep work that was needed to get ready. After the roof was put on, we realized that we should have taken an old basketball hoop down first. When we finally did, it left a gap in the trim where the hoop was covering. Without hesitations, MEI sent out a crew a few months later to touch it up. Now, It looks great. In short, our experience with Minnesota Exteriors, Inc. exceeded expectations for quality and timeliness. I will use this company again and have recommended their services to my friends. New Siding 10/20/2013

We went to a few Home Improvement shows to check out different siding companies and see what they had to offer. We decided to go with Minnesota Exteriors after looking at at all the options available, we were glad we did! The salesperson (Bob) was extremely helpful and made several excellent recommendations, and no sales pressure at all! The crew doing the re-siding were very hard-working and did a fabulous job, the house appearance looked amazing after it was done. We would definitely recommend this company for new siding, the combination of vinyl siding and LP Smart Side siding was great and the numbers they provided for us (in cost) were right on! more

Review for Minnesota Exteriors 1/20/2013

During the summer of 2012, Minnesota Exteriors provided and installed new vinyl windows for all windows in our home with replacement interior custom stained wood trim, exterior aluminum soffit , facia and gutters and also replaced some of the existing siding with accent shakes. The various teams that worked on the different aspects of the project were hard workers, friendly and were skilled at their jobs. MEI sales and office personnel communicated throughout the entire project via phone and email, answered all questions, responded to requests timely and worked to keep an organized schedule. Any issues that would arise were followed through on and corrected. We are very pleased with the final outcome of the entire project. more

HOME RESIDING – MINNESOTA EXTERIORS INC. 7/27/2012

Residing one’s house is a major expense and a major hassle! One always wants to get the job done at the lowest cost. Over the years, and many home improvement projects, I have learned to beware of the lowest bid. Even the glowing references supplied by the contractor or good BBB rating often hide serious problems. Starting with the salesman, who starts off with a low bid only too slyly add on extra work. Then you get a final bill for hundreds or even thousands of dollars more that the initial estimate. When you complain, you find that there is clever wording in the contract that allows the contractor to charge more for “extra” required, unanticipated work. The worst case, however, is when the contractor does not supply the promised lien waivers and then does not pay his subcontractor and home owner gets stuck paying double. When it came time to reside my house, after a very careful search, I selected Minnesota Exteriors Inc. They started with a professional, low pressure sales man, who explained all the proposed work in detail and then committed it to writing. The crew carefully discussed each step in the project and made no attempt to add on any extra work. The final bill matched the estimate exactly and was accompanied with all the necessary waivers. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend Minnesota Exteriors if you need your house resided! more

Fantastic service 2/15/2012

We had two patio doors and one large window replaced in February from MEI and we couldn't have been any happier. The windows look GREAT. The installers arrived about 30 minutes early and got done ahead of time. Everyone there was so polite. The entire process from ordering windows to getting them installed couldn't have gone any smoother. Bob G. was our sales person and he was remarkable. Happy with MEI 11/9/2011

MEI installed new windows, vinyl siding, gutters, and an entry deck on our home. We were attracted to their lifetime installation warranty, since most other contractors offer 10 years. All employees were very patient, responsive, and professional. The quotes were competitive with many others. The sales consultant (Doug) was helpful and thorough. The window installers and deck builders did quality work. The siding crew made sure the details were to our liking and got the job done quickly. It looks like a new house and we are very happy with our choice in a contractor. more
