This store is wonderful - full of beautiful plants and flowers and right in the heart of the city! The staff has excellent knowledge of their goods, and the store usually has excellent prices and sales to offer. more

Nice and small 8/18/2005

I was having a hard time finding a certain type of soil. I didn't want to pay the big bucks at Bachmans, and I also didn't want to drive out that far. Minnehaha Nursery helped me out tremendously and had great service to boot! It was a competitive price to what I might pay at Home Depot, etc. I stopped on a whim and now I'll be going back. more

Knowledgeable Staff 5/24/2005

Big nursery selection at a family owned store that's been around for decades. The manager makes a real effort to get in the best in terms of both plants and staff. Except for the high school boys who load the compost, everyone is a passionate gardener who understands plants, and gardens. more

A real park 10/14/2002

This is a great place to go exploring and hiking. Not a good place for small children. There are lots of trails but many of them are rugged and are difficult to the out of shape or small children. The off leash dog park is the best place to go with your best friend! And when you're done the ice cream hit the spot. more

Park??? This so called park is NOT maintained clean as city or state parks. It needs lots of work to be considered a place to recommend or enjoy. more
