After reading many positive reviews for Mineo's I decided to try it. Although Mineo's is not the worst pizza in town, it is definitely not the best either. Their sauce is very sweet, far too sweet for pizza. If you are looking for good pizza in the Franklin/Cool Springs/Brentwood area I would go to Joey's House of Pizza, Nick's Italian Deli, or Cool Springs Brewery (formally Guido's). These are the best pies in that area. If you are looking for the best pizza in town... Manny's House of Pizza is the place. I have never had a pizza as consistent as Manny's. It is ALWAYS great. Angelo's Picnic pizza is also very good but not very consistent. Each visit reveals an almost different pizza each time... although always good... but no Manny's. If you are wanting the best New York Style pizza in town go to Manny's House of Pizza... Joey's is very similar but Manny just has the touch. If you are looking for a pizza that almost borders on dessert pizza then go to Mineo's. more

Excellent wings & pizza & hoagies & ... 1/30/2010

Love their wings - we try them every place we go and Mineo's are some of the best. We like them naked (not breaded) and mix their kryptonite & raspberry sauces. Incredible! Their ranch dressing is one of my favorites as well. The kids LOVE the pizza and fries and their Italian hoagie - hot! - with crusty bread and great dressing is wonderful as well. Come and enjoy - just not too many of you at once - I want to get a table! Pros: Wings are awesome - we love naked kryptonite & raspberry mix Cons: draws a big crowd on weekends more

Best Pizza in Town 12/21/2009

NYC style pizza and I have tried many types from cheese to the works and all have been great. I have had Pie in the sky, Brothers Pizza, Mellow Mushroom, etc.. and this is by far the best. \r \r Besides that, the wings are awesome. Place could probably just live off the wings. I personally enjoy Krypton which is their hottest but it is still flavorable. \r \r If you have not tried it it is worth the try. I live within a mile of here, and my family and I go at least twice a month. Great place and atmosphere with all the games and TV's.\r Pros: NY Style PIzza and Wings Cons: N/A more

Great wings and pizza.. new to the area (from NYC thought I'd never see good pizza again) -found a home here. friendly employees, great bar and atmosphere. cant beat the specials and prices either. keep it up mineos! Pros: wings and pizza Cons: closes @ 11 more

The pizza was excellent, the place was clean and the service was great. Just had 2 slices and a coke for $5.99 !!! Hard to beat that !! Drove past 2 other pizza places just to go there. more

It is horrible that a terminated employee is able to go on and post lies on the internet any time they see fit. Especially when they are referring to themselves in the comment. To suggest that their are roaches and mice in a kitchen of a restaurant is horrible! If anyone has any concern about this please feel free to come in and inspect the kitchen anytime, we would be more than happy to oblige. SHAME ON YOU!!!! more

Well let me start off by saying its just not a good place to go. YEAH it used to be decent but now they went down hill... I know some1 who used to work there- said the kitchen is full of young boys who dont give much effort into making the food, burns it half the time; Roches are every where in the kitchen along with a few mice! \r Also the servers come in & go out all the time smoking & coming back to the table stinking.\r The owners r young & only care about doing there jobs 50% to get the $ not to much about the customers!!\r SORRY but stay away from this place!\r Pros: only a few nice people there. Cons: managers are rude & the food is horrible. more

Great Food and Happy hour specials!! 10/9/2009

Mineo's is real close to my house so I go in or do carry out several times a week. Love the hoagie's, hot wings & pizza (the buffalo chicken pizza is awsome!) Great 2 for 1 happy hour specials! Atmosphere is very casual nothing fancy for sure. Good place to watch the game's though. You guy's get my vote! Pros: Food, Happy hour, T.V's more

Best wings and pizza 10/5/2009

I started going to Mineo's in south florida. I moved to TN a few years ago and was so excited when i saw a Mineo's up here. Mineo's has the best wing sauce ever, I crave it on the regular! Before I realized Mineo's was here I couldn't find a pizza place that I liked. This is the first place in TN I have found that has good italian pizza. I could go on and on about he food...mozz sticks, wings, pizza, mb parm sub, chick parm sub, and the buffalo chicken sandwhich with hot sauce so good. You must go try this place for yourself. Pros: YUM! YUM! YUM! more

Great pizza and wings and blue cheese chips 10/4/2009

Tried Mineo's for the first time yesterday after a recommendation from a co worker. We ordered the Blue cheese chips for an appetizer.... Delicious! For dinner we got 2 pizza's and an order of their naked hot wings. The pizza really was outstanding, some of the best we have had here that's for sure and the wings were really good as well (we really liked their ranch dressing) Our server was really sweet and took good care of us. We had a good experience and we will definetly be back. Pros: great food, family friendly Cons: None that I saw more

Bad, bad, bad service 9/7/2009

Our server would not write down the order...she just repeated it back to us four times, and got it wrong every time. She served half the table (6 people) their food about 20 minutes before the others. She never said, 'yours is coming right up'. Nothing. Dumped some food, and left. We wondered if we were forgotten. Then she served one of two pizzas...served the final pizza about 10 minutes later, and informed the two people that ordered the first one that they had recieved the wrong one (BBQ Chicken vs. Buffalo Chicken). ""I don't know the difference. I've never seen them before."" No apology...just really terrible service. We felt like they did not want us to be there. It was laughable, almost. Stay away from this place. Pros: Didn't see any... Cons: Bad service, mediocre food. more

Do not honor coupons 7/19/2009

Mineo's is a great place to go if you enjoy lousy service and rude managers. Several times they have refused to honor coupons from their own website and local coupon books. First time they claimed coupon was for take out only. Next visit they claimed coupon valid for eat in only. Manager Steve refused to even talk to me regarding his refusal to honor coupon. This has happened to several friends of mine as well. In addition you can expect to wait for up to 45 min if you are eating at restaurant. If ordering take out be sure to check your order before you leave as it will most likley it will not be what you ordered. Save yourself time and frustration and visit one of the many other pizza places in the Cool Springs area. Pros: Decent food Cons: Lousy service refuse to honor coupon books more

Avoid-Raw wings and did not offer compensation 9/8/2008

Awful experience at this place, I ordered the garlic wings and they served me raw chicken. The chicken was pink and bloody, I received an apology but nothing else, I still ended up paying for my entire meal. Pros: Ambience Cons: Raw Food, Bad service more

Great Pizza! 7/1/2008

Great pizza! We always get the carry out special on Tuesday, large pie for $8 bucks! You can't beat it..... My only negative would be that we always call in our order, but always have to wait 15 minutes when we arrive....it is like they don't beleive we are coming and don't start cooking the pizza until we arrive....kinda of strange but oh well! I would recommend this place to anyone! Pros: Great pizza! Cons: Little long wait for carry out (call in ahead) orders more

Best pizza & wings PERIOD! 6/24/2008

I am a huge fan of Mineo's. They definatley have some of the best pizza & wings that I have ever had, (really all of their food is amazing ) If you like Italian subs you can't get any better, yummy!!\r \r What I really love about Mineo's is that they are a family owned restaurant (Husband and wife) and I just think that they really do a great job, The food is always fresh and amazing and the staff is really friendly . \r \r I have been dinning at Mineo's since they opened and really have always been treated well, reading one of the blogs I just think it's unfair to tell people to not support a buisness based on a one time issue, (especially if you are regulars) Everybody has bad days and I dont think you would have gone every month if it was terrible. \r \r If youve never been to Mineo's try their pizza & wings and you'll see why I love this place so much. Great Pizza..mediocre service 4/3/2008

MIneo's pizza is, by far, the best in Nashville. They have a fantastic sauce with the perfect amount of garlic and seasoning. The toppings are fresh and the pizza is always served hot. They also have wonderful oysters. The waitresses are slow, and not very professional. It seems to be a mixed bag with the service end of what they do. One day the service is great, the nest day you can be forgotten by the staff. The tables are too small for a pizzaria, but the foor makes it worth it. Mineo's is my familes favorite place to eat, we are hardcore regulars. I have 4 kids ages 4-10 and when it comes time to pick a place Mineo's is always where we end up. Everything is always great, we have never had any of the problems that some of the other reviews had mentioned. All their food is incredible. \r But, I agree that their wings and pizza is some of the best that you will find. And the service is always good. I love Liz & Steven. It is very family friendly in there so you can bring the kids and relax, they even have some games to entertain them.\r The only thing that I would love is if they would get a bigger location, since it can get very busy but you usually wait no more then 10 min. for a table, We never mind. \r You guys are doing a great job and we love you!!!! Pros: Great food, Service, Atmosphere, Cons: could use a bigger location or even a second more

Best Wings and Pizza in TN - Love the Atmosphere -Very Friendly Staff 2/20/2008

I Love Mineo's! Steven always gives great service and he is always smiling. You have to try the buffalo wings (extra crispy) and the buffalo shrimp with rasberry sauce mixed with med, hot or krypton (if you like em hot) they're the best. You can't get wings anywhere like Mineo's they are by far the Best Wings in TN period. The pizza is also amazing. I love there lunch specials. There pizza slices are HUGE. You should also try the cream cheese poppers, they are served with my favorite the rasberry sauce. I nwould suggest going to Mineo's during the week or days. Friday and Saturday nights are so packed you have to wait for a seat, but it's worth it. My kids also loves Mineo's. They love the video games. Shawn the manager always takes care of us. Thanks guys.
