Mimo's is another great place to eat in Uptown Whittier. This part of Whittier has such a neat mixture of people...from students, to businessmen, from artists to homeless...you can find them all. And so many of them hang around Mimos. Mimos has great food...delicious sandwiches, salads and yummy juice drinks. Most of their seating is outside, which is nice. Service is okay, nothing spectacular. Prices are good. Fun, relaxing place to eat. more

Treats and Coffee 1/17/2006

This mainly outdoor bakery and coffeestand in Uptown Whittier offers desserts and drinks. The patio table seating makes for good people-watching, and the variety of tasty baked goods go well with a hot chocolate or coffee. Most important of all, I'd vote this long-standing small business over the Starbucks on the corner any day! more
