My husband had an idea for a custom engagement ring for me. He and David worked together long distance (halfway across the country) to design the perfect ring. When the ring was nearly complete I inadvertently messed up his design ideas. He called David and told him to stop the project. They then re-worked the design to better match what I liked best. The result is a one of a kind ring that I truly treasure! I have received untold numbers of complements on it and am grateful every day for David and his patience and skill. I recently had to return my ring for its yearly check and am equally satisfied with the service. David was very quick to reply to my inquires and made the process very fast and simple. I tried out this jeweler after reading all of the reviews here. Unfortunately, my experience was not so good. Upon entering the store I explained that I needed a ring removed and resized. The owner was very rude and stated ""We too busy!"" She then stated without even looking at my ring that it would cost over $200 for a resize. I was flabbergasted and walked out. I went across the street to Ballard and Ballard jewelers and was treated VERY nice. They removed my ring for no charge and will be returning in a week to have it resized for less than half of what this store tried to charge! more

I had purchased my ex's engagement ring from Mimi's. It was a pretty pricey ring, this was when we were doing better financially. When times got a bit tough, we almost had to sell back the engagement ring, but David suggested selling other things instead. We took a shoe box full of broken, costume, and things we didn't even know what it was in. David took 3 hours out of his day (and even bought us lunch) to go through everything...to make a long story short I left with a huge check in hand. Kudos to David and his family! more

I've heard of Mimi's from friends, and their friends, and their friends...They've made a lot of my friend's engagement rings, done repairs and such. However, I didn't need anything to be made, on the contrary I needed to sell some jewelry. I called David and set up an appointment. Met him, and he gave me the good, bad and ugly. He was totally honest and upfront with me. I didn't expect my jewelry to be worth so little, but than again I paid ""mall retail."" In any case, he was professional and honest. Highly recommended. They are one of the good guys. more

We used Mimi's for various services, mostly repair work and they were excellent. The repairs were always excellent, only late once, but they finished it while I was waiting...not a big deal. I never knew they also purchased jewelry until David had mentioned that he would take old/broken jewelry in as trade or cash. I brought in a shoe box full of jewelry and was shocked at what I had. I left with some cash and lots of new jewelry. They will always be my jewelers. more

Mimi's jewelry is an incredible small town jewelry store. They may not have the biggest inventory in mountings, but make it up in their ability to custom design anything. We were able to take a picture of what we wanted and David was able to make it up for us in 1 week. They offered us the best price on the center stone and provided in incredible mounting. 2 thumbs up. Highly recommended! Pros: Awesome prices and workmanship Cons: Hard to find more
