Mima's Deli

Mima treats you like family and friends. The food is unbelievably affordable. We asked for recommendations initially and now we've tried everything. It's all good. I especially like the sweet fried plaintains when they make them sweet enough. If you like "mom and pop" type places with no frills, but good food and good manners, this is a great place to take your family. We love it. It's usually uncrowded for some reason. more

I love Mima's Deli. While it is a deli they do have table service. The menu is huge. They take pride in their service and foods. You are treated with care when your ordered is placed. Mima's has Cuban and Italian food. Each day they have a special. I have been told Sundays they do a wonderful Spaghetti dinner. I could write a book about the Cuban dishes. Everything is fresh, succulent and tasty. If you like spices and garlic fixed in a Spanish/Italian way you should go. They are closed on Monday. However, they more than make up for it the other 6 days. I always have a festival in mi boca when I eat here. They also have many foods to purchase that are from importers that I do not find in the Katy area. Thecafe/deli is small but exceptional in flavor and value. I am a regular Pros: Small deli with great food and owners Cons: Small deli in size. The largest goup they could do would be about 10. more
