Unfortunately I purchased a diamond from this company. While viewing the diamond I felt very pressured to buy it. First, when I asked if I could see the stone seperate from the ring it was mounted in he told me that I could only if I was sure I was going to buy it or another stone from him. (One of the other stones he was trying to sell me was clearly enhanced and when asked about it denied knowing if it had been altered or not) After viewing the stone I still wasn't postive that I liked the way it looked in my setting and expressed my concern to him. So we decided not to purchase the diamond that day, would think about it, and make a decision the next day. The following day when I went to his downtown office to look at the stone again he told me that If I did not buy the stone that day he had someone else he was going to sell it to that afternoon. So I asked what if I purchased the stone, took it home overnight and thought about it, then let him know. He said I could buy the stone but he would not exchange my money, but could find a different diamond if I decided this was not one that I liked. So I purshased the diamond, thinking that if I didn't like the stone he could find me a different one and credit me what I paid for my diamond. Next day came, I decided I wanted a different shape and he rudely told me that unless I was willing to pay $3,000-$5,000 more that it was not worth his time. While the stone is a nice stone, it is not the shape of stone that I want, and he is not willing to work with me to find me one that will make me happy. He offered me poorer quality diamonds, uncertified diamonds, diamonds that didn't even have the value of what I paid for mine in exchange for the one I purchased plus more cash. Unfortunately everytime I look at the diamond I am reminded of the poor customer care at millers international. Do not trust them when they tell you that you can exchange a diamond for one YOU want.
