The place to be for the big game 8/16/2005

If you can't make it to the game, the next best place to be is Gainseville Ale House. With TVs all around you can't miss a beat when the big game is on, GO GATORS!! Also, you can't beat the great food. If you decide to go there you have order the chicken nachos appetizer, it's huge and can feed four of my friends. Don't forget to add extra chicken for only a dollor more. more

great seefood 8/14/2005

This is one of my favorite places to go. Prices are reasonable and the food is quite good. As for staff, they seem to have a fairly high turnover rate, so some are good...others not so good. If you like quiet and no wait, don't go on game day because they will be packed. Good drink specials. Daily dinner and drink specials. When in season, they serve all you can eat crab legs for $19.95. I recommend their Zinger Melt as the appetizer (chicken with cheese, tomatos, onions, lettuce, sour cream, and a few other ingredients) And for dessert...Captain jacks buried treasure...if you like chocolate, you'll love it. more
