Horrible 4/16/2011

This place has the worst food I have ever had and is by far the worst resturant I have ever eaten at. My wife and I got food poisoning at this particular resturant. We have only eaten there twice. Once about 2 years ago where we had one of the worst meals ever. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi. I have had a frozen dinner that was better and I'm not stretching the truth here at all. Tonight some friends of ours invited us up there and we went ahead and gave it another shot. I ordered the Ossobuca which is just nasty. My daughter had there wings they were discusting. My friend order a ribeye steak and his wife and mine ordered the baby back ribs. Needless to say everyone got sick. So do yourself a favor and go somewhere else this place has no business serving food. If your going for a beer and only a beer its a great place. Just dont eat. Nothing on the menu is any good. more

Over all great environment 7/20/2008

My husband and I use to visit the Ale House at least 5 or more times in a month. It's a great place to chill out after a hard day?s work. We really miss it and we can't wait to go back to Tampa to visit and stop by the Ale House for some more great memories. The kids loved it too never had any complaints about food or the service. more

Good Local Joint 7/4/2008

Good local place for beer and burgers. It's not a seafood restaurant so don't order seafood. If you go to a seafood place, don't order burgers. Dig? Lots of sports on and a lot of draft beer. That's what this joint is about. more

great place to go with friends 11/13/2006

Stay away from the Seafood 11/3/2006

My daughter wanted to go here for her birthday, I had the blackened Mahi-mahi, she had a dozen raw oysters on the half shell.\r The Mahi was terrrible (rubbery and tasted funny, my wife was wondering what the smell was) my daughter gave me one of her last Oysters I turned it over to see if the other side also had a film covering it (it didn't), I put it in my mouth and immediately took it out. I asked her why she ate most of them, she said she didn't wanted to be a wimp (I had to tell her about the dangers of raw seafood). They Oysters were so overpowering in bad taste that she had tried to drown it out with lots of lemon juice, but she later told me that she never tasted the lemon.\r I should of known something was up when the booth we sat in initially had a strong vinegar smell and my first two beer choices weren't available, oh and the waiter forgot to bring me my French Fries, I later told him not to bother.\r My wife and other daughter had salads and they weren't disappointed and I understand that the burgers are supposed to be good.\r The only upside (besides the multiple TVs showing different sporting events) was the free cake they gave the b-day girl, I was told it was good, but I didn't want to try it, I just wanted to get out of there.\r Needless to say, I won't return. Pros: Multiple TVs Cons: Seafood is terrible!! more

Great Prices and Good Food 9/20/2006

A bunch of us from the office went there last Friday after work. The prices on the beer pitchers were great at 5$ per. I got an order of the fried cheese, which was good but not great. the atmosphere was good, not so loud that you could not hear anyone, but you could tell it was a good place to go after work. The only drawback was the crappy electronic dart board. Over all a great after work place to hang out and have a couple. Pros: Prices and beer selection Cons: Electronic dart board more
