Editorial review from Citysearch 10/18/2013

Unbelievable! My parents brought their cat and dog to this clinic to have their teeth cleaned. They were told it would be around $200 per animal and that Willie, the dog, might have to have a tooth pulled. At pick up, my mom was told that her balance was $1200!!! Shocked, my mom started to cry and asked why it was so much money? She was then told that the cat, Demon, had to have 6 teeth pulled and Willie, the dog, had to have 18 teeth pulled!!!! Nobody called my parents to talk to them about any of this, they just took it upon them selves to pull 24 teeth between the two animals!!! They were however so gracious enough to give my parents a $200 discount. Are you kidding me???!!! You don't even want to know the lame excuses the manager gave my parents when she called. We are in the process of filling a complaint with VMB, Veterinary Medical Board. This was completely unethical and they should not be able to get away with this!!! Beware of this place! They don't care about your animal, they just want your money! more

rude and careless 2/7/2012

ive have been going to miller for a couple of years now and i must say ive am liking it less and less. i can never get an appointment with the dr i actually like and the staff at the front end has been so rude lately i cant even stand it. i had called a week ago to to make an appointment for routine vaccinations for both my dog and cat and when i got to the office they told me no one wrote down the appointment and i sat there for half an hour waiting and didnt even get so much as an oh, sorry for the mix up. Before that the last time i had been in was with my new cat, he was a stray i took in. he had gotten his shots and a dewormer before but still had worms in his system and needed to be treated again. i took him in and waited for an hour that time. not only did they try to lecture me about keeping up on his care they tried to make it seem like i had done something wrong. at that point i had had this cat for like a month and he was a stray, strays have things worms and fleas...all of which i was treating. also they dont seem to understand that my dog, sweet as she is does not like other dogs and will bite. she was a rescue and not properly socialized when she was young in addition to being neglected and abused. she has problems and they dont seem to understand that. they act like im crazy because i am careful about bringing her in and how i handle her to keep not only her safe but everyone else around safe. i dont want my dog to bite some other dog because they dont take enough caution in how they handle her. there have been so many close calls in the hallways simply because they dont keep a good enough hold on her. Pros: null Cons: null more

Best place for your pets! 11/30/2010

If you love your pets like I do then this is the place for you. They are by far the BEST veterinary practice I have ever visited. They made me feel like my pet is the most important pet in the world and answered all my questions. Both Dr. Kooney and Dr. Sharples are friendly, courteous, professional and most importantly knowledgeable (as are the other Veterinarians that practice here). Moreover, the rest of the staff is great as well. They all make such a fuss over my dog Hanna that I feel at home whenever I have to take her in. I cannot reccomend this practice highly enough. more

Helping animals 2/16/2010

I called Millers to help with a problem with my daughters dog after hours and they told me they only help their clients animals after hours. I sure hope that the vets don't need hospital care and go to a hospital and they sorry you aren't a client here call your doctor. I wonder what they would think of that. Pros: none Cons: a lot more

Miller Animal Clinic is fantastic 8/15/2009

I love this vet!!! I have had nothing but great service here. Dr. Sharples is always pleasant and helpful. I would not take my animals anywhere but here! more

I love taking my dog to this Vet. They've been wonderful with my dog through 2 emergency visits one for seizure and another for a cut that wouldn't stop bleeding. The staff has always treated me and my dog wonderfully and understands that pets are members of the family. more

Best Veterinary Clinic 8/30/2007

I have never been to a better Veterinary clinic. I have been taking my three dogs and my cat there for a couple of years, now, and I absolutely love the doctors and the staff. Dr. Kooney is wonderful. He knew right away what to do for one of my dogs who had eye problems. They were the first vet staff who has ever been able to successfully treat my admittedly very difficult German Shepherd without causing me (and him) a great deal of stress and worry. The fees are unbelievably reasonable, and the hours are phenomenal. I can always get in quickly, and evening appointments are a great help to people like me who work all day. As long as Miller Animal Clinic is around, I will never take my furry friends anywhere else! more

Called at 12:am 7/27/2007

I did not think anyone would really answer the phone when I called that time of mornings.I through a answer machine would pick up and give the time that they would be open or close. And didn't` think they would be open on Saturday. It was nice talking to a real person. I give Miller the highest RATING. My three dogs have be going there for years Thanks June Georgia Walker and Autumn more

Not giving up 3/17/2006

I've been taking my dog to Miller since I moved to the area two years ago. Since then my dog has developed Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and the primary cause is not known. Her vet, Dr. Kooney, has not given up on her though the odds are not in her favor, and continues to research her condition and provide guidance and support. This alone has made what would have been a heartbreaking time for me hopeful instead, and my dog is still hanging on and doing so cheerfully! The staff is friendly and helpful and I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else! more

I love these vets!!!! 11/3/2005

I have 3 dogs and a cat. All of them are "Miller Kids". The vets are so friendly and knowledgable. Now with teh call ahead appointments instead of the old walk-in appointments, there is a very short wait, and not as many animals in the waiting room. The pricing is SUPER competitive. My dogs don't hate going to the vet, they actually LIKE it! When my mom had her cat put down, they were so kind and compassionate. PROS: awesome docs and staff CONS: none now that they have appointments more

The Best 10/26/2005

I started going to Miller animal clinic because my cat was sick and my vet at the time would not take the time to see him. I looked through the phone book and Miller was close to my house and they took him right away. He ended up having an upper respitory infection and they did an amazing job of treating him. Since then they have been my vet. They have done everything from fixing to cutting my part-persian. I have 5 cats and I would not consider taking them to anyone else! I trust them completely! more
