When we moved our offices our new leasing company allowed us to have the carpet and tile we needed to be installed by anyone we wanted. After looking around we choose Mill Creek Carpet and Tile. It was a positive experience from the beginning. Our sales person Ann from the South Store (93rd and Memorial) was very helpful and stayed with us the entire way. We were on a mission critical time line and our installer went the second mile and came by after hours to install the commercial tile so we could set up our equipment to get back into operation without missing a beat. Our employees love the job they did and everyone who sees our new space comments positively. more

I live in Grove, Ok, near Grand Lake, just North of Downtown. The Grove Branch of this terrible ""company"" sent two contractors out to resurface and lay tile in my apartment. I was in another apartment, temporarily, while this was going on. When I walked in to my apartment to check out the job they had done, I was shocked and \r appalled to discover that these contractors had TRASHED to 150 year old antique chairs !!!! I was LIVID. I went to speak with the General Manager of the Grove\r Branch....she refused to return my calls. I let two days pass, then, I called \r the Administrative offices on 38th Street in Tulsa. I reached a man named \r Rodden, who claimed to be the President of this outfit. He was a heinous smart-\r aleck, and cheapskate. He suggested that I just ""wipe off "" my antique chairs, worth over $2000 dollars each. I told him no, I wanted them done right, by a reputable\r upholstery cleaner. I told Rodden: "" It's going to get done one way or the other,\r Mr. Rodden. We can do business now, or we can do business elsewhere."" He hung \r up on me. We see what happens in Delaware County court.\r \r Dr. H. E. Sawyer, Jr.\r Grove, OK 74344\r \r \r \r \r more

I am not understanding these people who post these awful reviews!!! I have had done business with them for over 13 years. Not only do I love the carpeting in both of mine and my daughters room (that they installed several months ago), I have had excellent experience with all of the staff (including the installers). The prices are excellent and the quality of the merchandise are top notch. The stores are clean and I am always greeted with a smile. I would highly recommend everyone take my advice and go with them for any house hold improvements!!!! more

Mistake of my life 10/14/2011

If there were minus-stars this business surely deserves it! Never never again with this totally unprofessional and rip-off company. I hired them to redo my kitchen - they outsourced it to some contractor who had absolutely no idea about the design that MillCreek had agreed upon. The subcontractors left the house in a a total mess - ruined my front yard with grout and concrete and the tiles were haphazard, the kitchen sink was a recycled one and the management totally ignored our calls/emails. Only after complaining to BBB they sent a worker to fix a leak. The work that was supposed to be completed in 4 weeks has still not been completed but they want full payment. One thing they really are good at - threatening lawsuits! more

A HORRIBLE MISTAKE 8/24/2011

""The Biggest Mistake I've ever made."" I contracted with this outfit to install $13,000.00 of Italian Travertine Flooring in my home of 20 years. They hired SUBCONTRACTORS and CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16 to install the flooring. The slab was not professionally leveled per my worthless contract. The flooring is consistently not level throughout my home and the grout lines are inconsistent because tile spacers were not used. When I contacted Mill Creeks RUDE MANAGEMENT they had some people come to my home and try to grind down the floors to make them more even. These people had some broken-down machine with one wheel missing. The result was the tile was ruined; the edges of the tile are broken off and the finish of the tile was destroyed. Mill Creek refused to arbitrate per the terms of their own contract. They told me to sue them that ""They never lose."" Ask around and check with the Better Business Bureau. If Mill Creek had not been in business for 30+ years their rating would not be too pretty. I learned my lesson. It's going to cost me $21,000.00 to have this mess jack-hammered out of my home and replaced by professionals. Sadly, I don't think I want to go through this Horrible Undertaking. So I will probably sell a home I have loved ""AS IS"" thanks to this so called ""Tulsa Tradition"" Company. Mill Creek ruined my home, refused to correct their Horrible Job, refused to Arbitrate per the terms of Their Own Contract; and was going to place a lien on my property if I didn't pay for this disaster. Mill Creek in it's past generation was probably a professional company; but it is certainly not today. THEIR WORKERS ALSO DESTROYED A $4000.00 HENREDON CHEST IN MY HOME. BE WARNED !! more

Never Again 7/24/2011

DO NOT do business with Mill Creek. Based on Mill Creek's showroom and prices you would expect to receive a superior product and exceptional customer service, but unfortunately that is not what you get. We purchased engineered wood floors and had Mill Creek install them in our home. The sales woman told us installation would take a couple days, but when the installer (sub-contractor) came out he informed us that it would be at least a week -- and that actually turned into several months. Fault is not on the installer (they were actually great), but Mill Creek did not order enough product and in some instances did not order the correct products to complete the job. The installers told us this was not the first time they had this problem with Mill Creek. Mill Creek's customer service is the worst we have ever experienced. When we called the sales woman to let her know we were unhappy with the timeframe and that some of the wood trim was not the correct color her response was ""it is what it is."" We spoke to the supervisor and response was that they knew the sales woman was awful, but she had been employed there forever and they couldn't let her go. The supervisor did not offer any apologies, and did not try to fix our problems. To make matters worse, the engineered floor that we spent over $12k for and that we were told had a 25 year warranty is now showing wear (losing color) on our stairs were it has the most traffic. This is after just over a year! We are experiencing extreme heartburn at the thought of having to contact them about the warranty and can only anticipate the less-than-stellar customer service we experienced at the beginning. We could really write a novel about the countless let-downs, but we're guessing their is a character limit on this review. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT do business with Mill Creek. We will never again and are hoping to spare someone else from the agony. more
