Very profesional and excelent work 10/31/2012

I needed some electrical work done in a small building at a second home that I own in Meade County Ky. I was given Miles's name and phone number by a neighbor and I am very glad he did. I spent 30 years in the design and construction of various chemical facilities around the Ky., Ind., Ill. Virg. and Oh. Although I am not an electrician, I worked with many union electricians and acted as inspector on a number of occasions. Miles is as good at his trade as any electrician I have ever worked with. He was informative, and he knows his stuff inside and out. After I went over what what I needed, he went over various options with me. I ended up with an excellent job at an excellent price. I highly recommend Miles for your electrical project. more

The only thing I can say about Miles Riggs Electric Co. is that he was on time, did a good job and cleaned up after himself. He did everything I asked him to do. I would definitely use Miles again. more

This was the first time I have used Miles Riggs Electric Co. They came out, gave me a good estimate and got the work done in a timely basis, as per their estimate. The work seems to be quality and I would use them again. more

Stop shopping!! 11/29/2011

It's the second time that I have used Miles Riggs Electric Co. They were the few people that came out promptly once I called! They started working at the time that they said to me exactly, and wrote in writing what would be done. It's what somebody's service should be like! I had used them before and he had put in a power saver device for me. He said I would save 20 on my electric bill but I ended up saving 40! Stop shopping and use Miles Riggs Electric Co. They'll do exactly what is supposed to be done! Jack Wainwright more

Electrician Busy Writing His Own Reviews 9/19/2011

We had hired Miles Riggs Electric to wire two new homes. His invoices were littered with errors and work that was not completed nor approved. He was very confrontational, agressive with us and threatened to place liens on the home, sue us, etc. It is amazing for a man that truly wants wonderful reviews about him though acts in such an unprofessional manner. You can go on his website and his Customer Lobby Review Portal is maintained by Miles Riggs. (I did a bit of research about him after his threatening texts and emails.) He pay a monthly fee to monitor his review board plus post his own reviews. One of his reviews prompted me to go to the Oldham County Permit office to discover that a permit wasn't even taken out! This guy is bad news, dishonest. As he might have good customers and he solicits their reviews, his inabiity to provide professional service should be questioned especially if the job does not go his way. There are way to many good electrical contractors out in the market to take the chance. more

Fantastic job! 8/30/2011

We were having a bit of an emergency, as our electrical problem was directly related to our air conditioning. Miles from Miles Riggs Electric Co. came out himself on the same day we called. This was the first time we had used his services and he really bent over backwards to get everything done for us since it was so hot and uncomfortable. He worked quickly and was very polite. He truly went out of his way for us and we appreciated it. He did a fantastic job! We have his name stored for next time! David & Sami more

Solar attic fan 8/3/2011

I came in contact with Miles through the Service Magic network and I was very pleased with his level of professionalism. He took the time to come to my home and throughly explain products and serviced offered. I chose to go with his solar attic fan because, after much research, I discovered he offered one of the best products in terms of durability and warranty. I am very happy with my fan and installation, and I would recommend Miles and the products he suggests to anyone. Very honest and straightforward guy!! more

Professional, honest and friendly. 8/2/2011

I had researched the different contractors and all had given me different quotations going from $750-$1200 for what I wanted done. I had a TMB box and I was told it would cost more to do the job. I felt like these were all tricky electricians trying to pull one over on me. I was laughing inside. What they didn't know, is that I am an Electrical Engineer, I just wanted to hire a certified electrician to do the job since it was in my home and for insurance purposes, if something were to happen, I'd be covered. I found Miles from Miles Riggs Electric and he gave me a fair and competitive price. I didn't wait, I signed up with Miles right away. He was honest and friendly and professional. He arrived about fifteen minutes early on the day of the job. He brought the parts, took about two hours to complete the job and gave me the ticket and was on his way. I'd definitely use Miles Riggs again, he was easy to work with, did a good job and offered fair prices for the work he did. more

Kim Flanders is part owner of Cole Christopher Builders and they have hack my computer or made up a account on here for me to make it look like I gave my owen reviews I hope all this drama will end soon. And I dont controll any reviews from any customers I have a letter from Customer Lobby from the president to prove that plus I am a member of others sites where I cant control any of those reviews either. This was my first time working with Miles Riggs Electric. I had several projects that required an electrician who could not only identify the electrical problem, but also fix it in an minimal amount of time. Miles Riggs was also the only company that would come to my home, look at the project, and then give me a cost estimate. Miles is reliable, knowledgeable, and very conscientious.
