Miles is a fantastic guy. He checked my house thoroughly and replaced three breaker boxes and the outside service to the house. This also included a Powersaver 1200. We just had a house built in Oldham Co. Ky a 10,000 sqft home that is. I had 3 different bids for electric part and even though Miles Riggs Electric Co. was not the cheapest in town I was pleased with the way Miles Handle this bid. Not only was he dead on the estimate he was dead on where the receptacles,and Lights,Recess, where place but he was dead on the invoice also,Everything was perfect. Inspector's seem to like him and trever very well. The reason I hand picked Miles was because the way he bid my job,and the way he stood out from the other company's. Everything was done in a timely mannor,we had no worries with Miles. When they cameback to finish my home hang lights, recess,receptacles,everything work great. When I think of Miles Riggs Electric Co. I think of QUALITY that is what he delivered. I will always use Miles Riggs Electric Co. and highly recommend him to family,and friends. Excellent Service for Electrical Repair and Ceiling Fan Install 7/8/2010

Neat, clean and orderly... 5/27/2010

On time, neat and worried about the clean up. They did what they said they were going to do and did it well. They followed up on any item that I had and followed up on the city inspectors, making sure that he came by and approved. When I have more work.. it is for Miles Riggs! more

Mr. Riggs gave great exceptional customer service and superb work. 4/26/2010

Mr. Riggs was the first professional to contact me and follow -up with my request for a quote. He was the only one to continue to take the initiative to follow-up with the quotes he gave. His quote was more competitive than two of his competitors. He was quick to schedule the work and he and his worker worked hard all day long to finish the work. He took "above and beyond" measures to come back to our house an hour later when a need arose. He was very helpful in discussing other electricial needs we should address and helped us brainstorm avenues that we could take to address them. I would definetely recommend him to others. more

Very very good work 4/12/2010

Miles installed a solar power attic fan, power saver unit and generator switch. All work was completed on time or ahead of schedule. His final cost was less than his initial estimate. He and his crew were very professional, courteous and consciensous. They cleaned up after themselves and left no trace behind. I would and will recommond him to all of my friends. more

Miles and his partner started out with one project at my house, but I added on a couple of more while they were here. Miles was very good about getting me information and pricing for all of my work. They did a great job of working around my dogs and cats, left the house clean and worked with my work schedule without any problem. more

Miles Riggs Electric is the only electical contractor you should call!!! 3/8/2010

After the ice storm of 2009 our home had severe damage. The the electrical service was completely torn from the side of our home. After making several calls to most of the contractors in the yellow pages, Miles Riggs was the only one that responded by saying " I have a lot of service out at this time but I will work you in". Within 24 hrs he had the service back up and ready for LG&E. Thank You Miles Riggs for very professional job... more

Generator Installation Work 2/11/2010

Miles installed a new whole house generator for me. When he came out my electrical panel was in need of serious help, even though I had just had it installed a couple years ago. It was obvious to both of us that my previous electrician did a very poor job, I know since I have done plenty of wiring myself over the years, mostly low voltage. Miles changed out my panels, brought new 200 amp service in from the pole, and installed the whole house generator in just a couple days of work! And we have had no issues since. more

Good Guy and will use again for other electrical needs 2/7/2010

I was really blown away by the service. They were knowledgeable, through and sincerely concerned about the safety of my family. We had a potentially deadly issue that needed fast, professional resolution. I only rated middle of the road of price for value only because I did not get full, detailed estimates from others for the work I had done. But the service was top rate and I highly recommend Miles Riggs Electric! They even went the extra mile and assisted in communications with my insurance company to help make sure that we got things taken care of. Now that is service! more

Miles Riggs recently did some electrical work for me, which included installing a lamp post outside my home, ceiling fans in the living room with 25 ft. ceilings and in the bedroom, electrical outlets,light switches in closets and installed a power-save unit model 1200 on breaker box. His work was excellent and I will definitely call him when I need additional service. His work was professional and his personality was sincere in making sure that we were satisfied with the work. Helpful and thorough...they carry through with projects. 1/12/2010

Miles Riggs Electric does a good job and they are thorough. I first started using them for electrical work at my home and then for my rental properties. They have done major work updating both my home and one of my rental houses, which was fairly old, and they made things a lot safer. They also have stepped in to help me with various problems. For example, they worked with the electric company to get the power turned back on at one rental property so that they could get their work done. This was important because I had tenants who wanted to move in. On another occasion, Miles Riggs helped me contact the inspectors to inspect the work that they had done. I continue to use Miles Riggs Electric because they carry through with projects and, if there are other problems, they bring them to my attention. Arlene Romine more

Miles took meticulous notes and because of that he was the only one of three companies that gave me the estimate the way I requested. That played a large part in choosing him even though the others were lower in price. I felt like he would do a quality job, and I was right!. He went above and beyond by stapling other lines up out of view in my basement that had nothing to do with what I hired him for - clean work. He kept in touch regularly and got the estimate to me in a timely manner. I highly recommend him and will use him again if I have other electrical needs. The only reason I chose 4 stars instead of 5 on Price for Value is that I have nothing to compare his prices to. more

Very reliable, does the job right the first time. 1/5/2010

I have been using Miles Riggs Electric for about 5 years because they are very reliable. Miles was just doing a touch-up job on a project for me this morning. He is always there when he says he is going to be there, and he does the job right the first time. I deal with a lot of contractors, and it is nice working with Miles Riggs Electric because you do not have to worry or follow up to make sure that the work was done correctly.
