It is the most beautiful car for the best price compared to other dealers I looked at. My kids are so happy and comfortable in the spacious back seat! The staff is also very welcoming, entertaining, and ready to help find a car that is right for you. I'd recommed anyone who is looking for a car to fit their needs to go to Mike T's!! My purchase was a last minute decision for me! I had been shopping all over Pittsburgh looking for a ""Reliable - Gas Efficient - Dependable SUV""! It was my last day to look cause I had no more days left on my rental car and had to have a vehicle - due to the fact that my old vehicle was totaled! When I first arrived on the lot at ""Mike T's Auto Sales"" I was greeted by very nice - friendly ""non-aggressive salesman named John! He walked me around and showed me their inventory and pointed out that all there vehicles were priced to sell and that every vehicle had brand New ""State & Emission Stickers"" for a year!! Those two things were impressive - compared to a lot of the Used Car Dealerships I visited on Hwy 51 and W. Liberty which most had ""No Pricing labled on the windows and Inspection Stickers as is"" which made me feel very unsure about the true value of the vehicle and that there were more than likely issues with the vehicle since they didn't have Up to Date Stickers! John and I demoed a few SUV's and then we went inside to talk about the purchase of one of the SUV's!! From the time I met John on the lot and we went inside - I felt so comfortable and trusting as if he was a friend I had known for a long time! Then once we were inside I met Mike T the owner and WOW what a great guy!! He immedately made me feel at home and like I was family!! He even treated my son like it was his own gave him ""Food - Drinks-a couple of Toy Cars and even played around with him""!! Mike T sat down with me showed me the ""Car-Fax and all the Maintenance Repair Work Sheets"" for the SUV that I ended up buying!! Through the whole buying process there honestly were no ""Games or Gimmicks"" to purchasing my SUV!! Mike T as a owner and person is a very ""Caring and Giving"" man towards his customers!! Then Iater I met David (the manager)who I did all the paperwork and warranty info. with for my SUV! Wow- first off what a ""Funny & Caring"" guy he was!! I've purchased many vehicles before and I must admit David was the ""Easist and Fastest"" manager that I ever dealt with in doing all the paperwork for a vehicle!! Overall, the experince I had at ""MIKE T's Auto Sales"" and dealing with (John, David, and Mike) was so Pleasant and Enjoyable that I recommend anyone and everyone that may be in the market for a vehicle should stop and shop at MIKE T's they truely are like a FAMILY with the treatment they provide to you!! This purchase was a last minute thing for me and, I was in need of a good car, at a reasonable price, that was going to last. I purchased a 2000 Honda Civic Si with 99,500 miles on it. Being that I was coming from North Carolina I was not sure how this was going to work out. After calling and speaking with Mike, we made arrangements for me to take a greyhound bus from NC and, Mike even picked me up at the bus station. Then we went to the dealership where my soon to be car was getting worked on. Upon inspection of the service records and the carfax, the timing belt and water pump had not been replaced on this car and, being that I needed to be back in NC for work on Monday, Mike personally made sure that the Honda Dealership got all the parts, and they were delivered the same time I arrived in Pittsburgh. When I got to the dealership, the mechanics had taken the valve cover off (this is necessary to change the timing belt) and, I was able to inspect the inside of the engine. In short, with 99,500 miles this motor was clean with NO SLUDGE and, one could have thought this was a new motor. Well, after seeing the car, Mike offered to pay for a hotel for me so I could get some sleep. I was shocked and pleased by this offer and, I took him up on it. After getting a few hours of sleep, Mike called me and told me the car was ready. After shooting the breeze for a bit, I went to Blooms cigar shop and Primante Brothers sandwich shop. The car runs great and, I have a 90 day 3,500 mile warranty. I'd like to point out here that as an employee in the auto industry, I inspected this car thoroughly and for a car with this amount of miles, there were only minor defects. Nothing major that would affect the drivability or comfort of the car. Overall; whether you are an out of towner or from the burgh, buying a car at Mike T's is a safe bet. more

I got an outstanding car at a sensational price and Mike ""T"" made sure that the care was perfect operating condition. I bought a 2005 Nissan Maxima SE with 58K for $12,777.00. The Kelly Blue book lists it for $15,705 and trade in at 11,600. The car is in excellent condition. not a scratch and there is not a crack in the leather interior. I've been looking for the past 4 months at Nissans and could never find a deal for less then about $500 to $900 less then Kelly blue book. There was a sound coming from under the car upon acceleration and Mike made absolutely certain that the problem would be fixed. He sent me to his Mechanic, MJ's on Brookline Boulevard (who I also recommend) and the noise turned out to be a slightly loose heat shield. Noise gone. Took it to the Nissan Dealer to get the transmission fluid changed for which Mike paid half. The Nissan Dealer did took it out for a test drive and did their quick 27 points courtesy check over and they couldn't find a thing wrong with it.\r \r If you need a used car, be sure to go to Mike ""T"". His staff, Dave and John, who I got the pleasure of meeting are great. They are all good people. They are not a big outfit without a lot of overhead but they go through the efforts to be sure you are getting a Mechanically sound car. more

Mike is all about helping you find the car you need and will encourage you to go elsewhere if you find a better deal than he can give. However, if someone else wants the same car, it's not always the person who shows the money first who gets it. On Saturday Mike took a portion of a down payment to hold a car that we knew someone else had looked at but had not yet put any money on (""This isn't Walmart"" was his exact quote about the situation). We test drove, put cash down and left feeling great, just waiting for the actual cosigners to come in Monday or Tuesday to sign so that a first time car buyer with no credit could get a car of her own. Monday morning there was a phone call that the other potential buyer was upset (mind you, it wasn't important enough to put money down the day they test drove, or before 2-3pm the next day) and suddenly ""the car might be a little more than she could afford"" or ""perhaps if she put more down she could finance it."" Whatever was said to the person who had put money down first, it was enough to intimidate her out of purchasing the car. She said the car ""just wasn't worth the drama."" If he had a brand new car that I was dying to own for one penny I wouldn't ever give him my business. I bought a car from Mike T's back in July of last year. It was a great experience, David was very helpful in negotiating my trade and such. Anyway after putting 5k miles on the car which I bought the extended ""bumper to bumper"" warranty on, I had some engine problems. I took it in for service and was without a car for almost 2 months. I emailed mike and dave and initially it seemed they were concerned but after speaking with them one time I never heard back from them again. The car had to have the engine replaced which cost me almost $1500 on top of the $1400 warranty I purchased from them. After getting fixed the car wasn't the same, always was leaking fluids and we just didn't feel safe to keep it. I would say to be careful when buying a car from them and definitely take it elsewhere to be checked for problems before purchasing. I loved working with Mike and Dave. They answered all my questions and made me confident that I was buying a quality vehicle. Mike was very fair in negotiating the price of the van along with the trade-in of my other car. For piece of mind, I took the new van to the Dodge dealership for a safety check and they told me that I had purchased a great vehicle with no problems. That made me feel good that I had put my trust in Mike. I will not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from Mike and I plan on recommending Mike T's to my family and friends! more

Durring the snow storm my car broke down and i needed a new one next day. My friend reffered me to Mike T's, she got a car from him two years ago and she is still happy with it. Mike and Dave were very helpful and friendly. I liked the Honda Civic, it is exactly what i was looking for. It had a brand new inspection and the price was reasonable. I was out with my friend looking for an suv, we had tried several other places, a few where no one even acknowledged us. At Mike's we were greeted on the lot by David, and shown the suv's i was interested in. Going in, i knew what i wanted, what it should cost and how much i could spend. David and Mike made the entire process so easy, they were very nice and I never felt they were out to scam me. The suv i chose had a few minor cosmetic flaws that i asked Mike about fixing and when i picked up it, they were taken care of. I recommend going to see Mike and David anytime you need a new car. I walked into this dealership at 4PM this afternoon in search of a 4WD vehicle. David showed me a beautiful Honda Element, and we went for a drive. It was snowing, and David encouraged me to try it out on the hills of Brookline. He casually explained the car's features, cracked some jokes, and made me feel completely at ease despite the lousy weather. Then Mike explained the numbers - he wrote everything down right in front of me. When he called the bank, it was on speaker-phone. I was ""in the huddle"" the whole time. Nothing behind the curtain, no secret math, nothing. Everything worked exactly the way he said it would. And by 6PM, I had a new car. This was hands-down the best car-buying experience I have ever had, and I would recommend Mike T's to ANYONE looking for a pre-owned car at a reasonable price. My husband and I bought from Mike over a year ago. Mike and Dave were friendly and helpful, and made us feel at home. Mike even held my 1 year old daughter while we filled out paperwork and he didn?t even mind when she peed right through her pants and all over him. A few days after we bought the car, it had the check engine light on? we went back to Mike and even though the issue wasn?t covered under the warrantee, he paid to have it fixed. A couple weeks after that it came on again. The cost to fix it was outrageous! Mike got us a deal for a lower price and paid half. We haven?t had any other issues with the car since. He gave us a great price on our trade in and a great purchase price. The only complaint I had was that the tank was empty when we drove it off the lot, and he said it would be full? I am sure that had I taken the car back and said something he would have filled it up, but I didn?t, so my loss. \r THANKS GUYS!!!! more

Mike T is a very SMOOTH operator - misleading and changes his story. He will tell you what you want to hear. He buys dealers' rejects that they wouldn't think of putting on their lot 'as is'. All they do is clean them up and sell them. BEST ADVICE - take a machanic with you to look at the car or truck thoroughly! The TV advertisement says he has brand new Pa state inspection - make sure your machanic doesn't find anything wrong that is required for PA state inspection - we DID and it was after the fact and cost us!! The warranty offered may not cover the repairs or all the labor. It says it covers a certain part, but they have the option to deny coverage/full payment. Mike won't tell you that either. Our vehicle has been in the shop almost half as long as we've owned it for MAJOR repairs and it still needs more! OUR ADVICE - go to a reputable dealership!! more

If you're in the market for a newer, used car, Mike T's is the place to go! They were unbeleivable, honest and tried so hard for me to be able to get a loan for the car that I really wanted. They did all of the leg-work for me and truly went out of their way to help me. I thought they were very knowledgable about the cars one theii lot (that helps a lot). And even more impressive, they sincerely wanted to help me with the financing and price of the car knowing that I am a single mother. I would whole-heartedly suggest to you to go to Mike T's.
