Bait and Switch 8/20/2008

We were long standing member of State Farm in a different state. We moved here and State Farm quoted us a price for our insurance. We bought the house, and found out 6+ months later that the rate they initially quoted us was a ""Multi-Line"" discount. So, we found this out because they sent us a letter that our account was not in good standing and that we owe $x. What the ....? When I called to get the issue resolved, they just said that they quoted us the multi-line discount and that we had to pay the additional amount. We decided to go with State Farm based on rate and the additional amount was enough that we never would have went with State Farm. It wasn't a huge amount but it did bother us enough that we canceled our service with them and will never go back (especially to this office). Office staff, including the owner, was unwilling to work with us. Pros: Sometimes Cheap Cons: Deceptive quotes more

Best insurance agency in Wake County 6/28/2008

I have been with State Farm insurance for many years, but switched my service over to this agent's office about a year ago after not receiving the the kind of service I thought I should from my previous agent. It was one of the best moves I have ever made. I have several policies with this office, both personal and business, and I never have any trouble getting someone when I call and they always respond to whatever question or issue I have promptly and professionally. I have dealt mostly with Ben and I feel that he sincerely cares about my insurance needs. He is not pushy, takes the time to explain everything in the policy and I believe that he is looking out for my best interests and not just selling me something I don't need. In addition, Ben has even frequented my store since becoming my agent, and as a business man, that really makes an impression. I highly recommend this agency.
