Excellent Service 11/16/2017

I just had a need for a simple kitchen faucet replacement and they were happy to do it. The plumber showed up when expected and quickly assessed the job. Had a surprise that I also needed to replace the shut-off valves but they were 38 years old so I shouldn't have been surprised that they had frozen. She got the job done right away and as best as I can tell, did so perfectly. Fully pleased with the job. more

Tremendous thanks to Bobby Mata of Mike Counsil Plumbing for his help when we needed to replace our shower head and treat our walls for black mold. He and all the staff of Mike Counsil Plumbing took care of our problem in a prompt, professional, and very courteous manner. Bobby took the initiative to contact Dry Force on our behalf, and he coordinated his own work with Dry Force so that both firms addressed our problems with maximum efficiency. At every stage in the process Bobby thoroughly explained what he was doing and clearly explained our options. We're grateful to Bobby and Mike Counsil Plumbing and have already recommended them to our friends and will continue to do so in the future. more

Initially the installation of the closed gas system took longer than mum wit and I anticipated. 10/23/2017

Repaired hot and cold water line connections to the water heater. Installed new valves and appropriate metal lines. 10/23/2017

As a follow up to our annual inspection we needed work done on some very old pipes and connections to the water heater. Service people arrived promptly and were very courteous and professional. Everything went smoothly and the water to the house was off for only a short time. They cleaned all. The lines of residue to assure adequate flow. I forgot to have them check the line to the refrigerator and about a week later when I realized the flow was diminished but the filter was fine, I called to have them come back. Haven't seen them yet. more

Highway robbery diguised as a plumbing company 10/21/2017

I had a problem reattacing my sink drain as i didn't have the right tool. Called this company and was given a quote of $233 dollars. Went down to a plumber supply house, bought the parts for $8.47 and went home and installed them by hand in five minutes! Was still charged $95.00 for coming out to give me the quote! What a racquet! more

Prices too high 10/21/2017

I believe I was overcharged to replace a $40 shut-off valve by the front faucet. $1000.00 ? Really ? The guys were already on site and I had already paid for the house call to get some other work done that day. more

Toilet leak issue 10/19/2017

I had Technician Mario Torrez come out to my Dad's condo to help with a toilet leak issue. Mario quickly found out why it was leaking and immediately called to let me know, as well as sending me photos of the problem. I was amazed and impressed of his skills and work ethic. He fixed the issue and explained every step of the involved work process. I can't express enough of how grateful I am of the professionalism, and great job Mario did to help us out. I would highly recommend him, and Mike Counsil Plumbing should be very proud to have such an outstanding employee on their team. more

Fast and Thorough 10/14/2017

Mike Council plumber was able to come the morning after I called them at 9AM. On time, which was a nice touch. A visitor to my house had poured grease down the kitchen sink, clogged almost completely. He cleared it with a twirly thingy down the outside access port. It was very greasy when he retrieved it. Done in 40 minutes. Not cheap, but well worth it to be able to rinse dishes again. more
