This gym is horrible. First, there is no parking, so do not bother trying to go between 3-7 on a weekday. I have been a member to a gym of some kind for about 18 years and this has to be the worst ever, I only keep going to this one because it is the only one convenient. \r
\r
-There are too many members for the limited equipment they have during peak hours.\r
- The so called trainers are for the most part in average to below average shape themselves, I am 38 and most of them are in their late teens to early 20's, and I am positive I am in overall much better physical condition than they are, and I am not what you would call super fit, but I am in good shape and healthy.\r
-It is a gym, a place of health and fitness, but yet the staff can be seen going on break and coming back with bags of fast food, this includes the ""trainers'.\r

Fortunately an LA Fitness is opening soon just across the street. I was a member there in Portland and I loved it, very spacious, great equipment, professional staff and a fair cost. I cannot wait for it to open, I am certain there will be a vacancy where Meiko's is now as there is no way they will last against LA Fitness.\r
Pros: Most equipment is fairly new.
