Midwest Vein Care - Vein & Skin Care Institute

My first treatment w/ him 15yrs ago left perfect looking legs. I have since lived all over the US & world. This distance left me searching for someone else with his expertise. That search has proven impossible. I now resort to traveling from my home in San Diego, CA to St.Louis/Chesterfield, MO for Dr. Wlm Goldstein. No one has the intelligence, drive or honorable way of treating others. The precise artful skill level of Dr Goldstein has made him a Master in his feild. His combined knowledge & skills makes him the ""Elvis"" of phlebology. \r \r \r [After coming across 1 particular review (the only one of it's kind, Let it be known]: The person using the word scam should be ashamed of themselves for using a completely inappropriate word to describe this business. This place is the furthest from that definition. It was considerate of the front office staff to give a ballpark quote of services. The scope and depth of anyones medical procedures can only be determined by the man with the doctorate in the field, Dr. Goldstein. Detailed paperwork is typical and a requirement for medical services. Plus, all medical facilities can and will tend to have a wait. Business' run by their customers timings and the unexpected that happens in everyone's day. Especially when there is a few dozen peoples timings colliding together. This is normal. It is however inconceivable how someone can be so malicious to post a heavy laden inappropriate worded review to one of 'the' nicest doctors practicing in any field. You can ask every medical professional around. There is not one bad thing that can be said about him or his practice. It's always 5 stars. What you will hear is that he is truly talented and gifted in his field. This business has been practicing for over 15yrs with just rave reviews. It is a pillar of the phlebology community. It is unfortunate that someone's bad day would have them displace their anger on to such an upstanding doctor. The only thing negative that someone in the 'turn-n-burn' biz practice could say is Dr. Goldstein will give too much of his time to each patient. He is a perfectionist and a compassionate person. He will give 200% of himself in each treatment that for it's equivalent, it would be what other Dr.'s achieve requiring multiple appointments.. He always gives way more of his dedication in your appointment then other biz practices would ever dream of giving. He is the 'Gold Standard' giving the dedicated treatment you would expect from a close personal friend. more

I was truly impressed with knowledge and abilities that Dr. Goldstein is able to accomplish at his office. Some things I never knew would be possible are. Definitely the best around! more

I have had extensive surgery by Dr. Goldstein. He has removed (closed up) both the greater and lesser saphenous veins in both legs, and done spider injections. I praise the work he and his staff do. They have been professional, always on time, friendly, supportive. I recommend Dr. Goldstein and his staff completely.\r more

Well, I will let you in on a secret, but you musn't tell anyone! I have a problem with little spider veins and they just won't leave me alone. After several failed attempts at finding the right Dr. ... I found the master! It's Dr. Goldstein! If I could give him 6 stars, I would...this doctor is absolutely superb. He is truly a leader in his field and he clearly has a passion and perfection to his work that is reassuring and impressive. From his beautiful space in Chesterfield Valley to his thorough follow up instructions, everything about his practice is quality, quality, quality, yet remarkably affordable. I have a had a bad experience with incompetent treatment of spider veins before, so imagine my relief when within a few minutes I realized I was in the hands of a true expert. I know there will be pesky spider veins to banish again one day, and I will waste no time coming to Midwest Vein Care. I have the utmost confidence in him and his work. I just wish I had found him years ago! more

This was my first experience at having some ugly spider veins removed on my legs. Dr. Goldstein and his staff were great! I called and spoke with his office before making my final decision to schedule an appointment - all of my questions were answered throughly and the staff member was very nice. \r \r Once I arrived for my appointment, Dr. Goldstein gave me a complete overview of the procedure, answered additional questions and completed the treatment on my veins. He then told me what I needed to do for the next 6-7 days in order to heal properly, this included wearing the compression stockings which I purchased at his office. He called later that evening to check up on how I was feeling and that everything was OK. I found Dr. Goldstein to be very professional, knowledgeable and caring. more

SCAM. Office told me my appt was at 10:00 and to show up a couple minutes early for paperwork. When I arrived, they told me my appt was at 10:30 and before they would tell me the cost of my services I had to fill out the paperwork and wait 40 minutes. They would only tell me my services would be between $200-$500. I guess they are hoping that if they make you wait 40 minutes and fill out a tremendous amount of paperwork that you are stuck and will then pay whatever amount to get their service done. Padda Institute offers responsible prices with reasonable service, coupons up to 50% off these prices with Groupon. I was going to try Midwest Vein just because they were close. But, I can see a SCAM at Midwest Vein! more
