Second time...LAST time. NEVER AGAIN. Staff is unprofessional, and as testified to in another review, UPPITY, inmature. You'd think they were at a full-scale, 4000 patient facility with 1 nurse per 30 patients. NOT THE CASE. Takes 45 min plus for staff to respond to page so patient can URINATE?! First experience was distressing as pre-op ""nurse"" threatened to ""cancel surgery"" because no emergency contact person was listed. When patient stated they would relay this info to the surgeon, that song and dance change quickly. Abuse of power, plain and simple. Thankful it was a day surgery but it should have been a red flag as to what an overnight stay experience would be.\r
\r
Second experience: Was left completely unattended for 2 hours, despite pages. Again, this patient waited in excess of 45 minutes for ANYONE to assist patient. Some little girl PCA (RN wannabe) (WTH is a PCA?) was rude, immature and anything but professional. She was blatantly HOSTILE and took gross advantage of patient being completely incapacitated and still under the influence of anethesia/narcotics. She picked the WRONG patient to pull her powerplay on. This patient has a medical advocate which will hopefully investigate this incident.\r
\r
This young girl does not belong in this position or ANY position caring for patients, whether they be human or animal. RNs attempted to defuse situation but it was too late. Some unidentifiable young man (boyfriend?) accompanied this girl and was allowed to put his hands on patient. Never identified himself as to who he was, what was his position there and why he was violating patient's privacy. RNs had NO CLUE as to who this young man was, why he was in patient's room. But he accompanied this same PCA. The fact that the RNs knew nothing of this young man was extremely concerning. Do they allow anybody to come in off the street and portray being a medical professional?????\r

Food and food service staff were among the best being compassionate and understanding.\r
They alone turned a negative experience into a positive one. \r
\r
Patient was given some unknown drug which resulted in severe reaction to (cardiac, pulmonary, issues, etc.) When patient asked about what was given so this drug would be listed on their ""allergies"" chart, was told ""don't worry about it."" OH, Really!?\r
\r
Oh, yes. They loaded patient up with all this proproganda garbage. Like patient really needed a refrigerator magnet and the other junk to haul out of there, even if he HAD 2 functioning arms/hands. Patient will NOT be your BILLBOARD MOSH! Stop buying this promotional junk and use those funds to employ adult, experienced, professional staff.\r
\r
We will not elect to have future orthopedic procedures at this facility. You are NOT the only game in town. MOSH needs to revisit their patient commitment starting with hiring mature, experienced individuals to provide professional care and physician support. There are a lot of unemployed medical professional ADULTS that should be honored to be employed in this facility. Then again, perhaps they know the patient care history here, the inexperienced immature person this facility obviously prefers, and elects to stay far away from there. \r
