Affordable Education 8/26/2005

Midlands Technical College has two campuses available in Columbia. One is located near the airport and the other is located near downtown off of Beltline Blvd. They offer a wide variety of courses that can be taken during the day or evening. It's a great place for those working during the day that need to take classes in the evening. The class sizes are small. The teachers are kind and helpful. It's also an affordable way to finally get that degree. They offer Associate's Degree programs and certificate programs. Everything is convenient and not too spread out as in most large universities. more

Great for general ed and for medical fields 7/31/2005

If you are looking for a cheaper way to get your general ed classes out of the way, this is the place to go. Nearly all of their credits are transferable. They also have a lot of "majors" related to the medical field. Their dental hygiene program offers a community clinic where just about anyone can go to and get very cheap dental checkups.
